@1bird_d do you have a theory as to why left eye peeking is better? my only other guess would be that right eye peeking shows less of your body but more of your head, so when peeking into riflers (who aren't zont1x) right eye peeking isn't an advantage

@smartbackwards is part of the limitation there that the round swing is only being calculated when kills happen? I would've assumed zontix's damage would give him like +4% in the moment, and then not any (or much less) credit when donk gets the kill

getting the kill would have "allowed" donk a chance at a 1v4, assuming zont1x gets insta traded, which doesnt fully matter
dinking the guy left last "allows" donk a chance at a very favorable 1v1, so the model values it more 🤷♂️

fun thing about donk's 1v5 against Heroic at the Shanghai major - his last kill came against TeSeS who was ultra low after zont1x dinked him for 89hp earlier on in the round, which in turn gave most of the reward from the donk 1v1 to zont1x
at first i was like "whoa what the hell" but it does make sense mathematically when you think about it

@hrlomax the people saying "okay just move then" are missing that moving is like a $600-$2000 expense, and that's not including the externalities. If your landlord wants to raise your rent $300/month, moving is not a great deal, especially if your next landlord is just gonna do the same

if you ask someone if they're in favor of "rent control", what they hear is "am i in favor of limiting my landlord's ability to jack up my rent 500% for no reason when the lease expires", and the obvious answer to that question is "yes"
even if that's not what rent control actually is in practice, that is all people actually want it to be
ive had 3 friends within the last couple of weeks tell me that they got notices their rents were increasing anywhere from $300 to $1,000 A MONTH, for places they've all lived in for multiple years, and there's nothing any of them can do about it (other than move out)

A "bold" rotation is banking on people who only play mirage and dust to play the new map instead of leaving entirely, and I'm not sure valve cares to gamble on that

As expected, not even 12 hours later and Cache sits around mid-table. Despite being a new season with a new map, everyone STILL defaults to Mirage and D2.
This is why this system of removing the least played map will never work and newer maps will never have a chance:

@_ale_cs @Karol74419661 I think a lot of people have yet to see a pro game on it or remotely understand how the meta works, so are hesitant to queue it. Whether that builds faster than the "new map intrigue" decays, idk. What this really signals to valve is that people don't care about new maps :((

@NaToSaphiX I think you basically have to have this, the way the bomb wraps around certain corners but not others is v unintuitive. There's not an obvious "I need to be this far away" thought process anymore

🇧🇷HEN1 seems to be the best bang for buck AWPer in notable maps since 2016, and someone like 🇸🇪twist had an insanely good T-side sniper
