45k x12 =5.4 Lac/ annum rent I.e 6.75 percent rental yield on Rs 80 lac home price… Is that possible anywhere in India??? Really!! And what about taxes?? And what about cost of repairs and maintenance?? Do you know, even the commercial property can’t get you a rental yield on 6.75 percent!! Rental yield of Residential properties at most places in India is around 2-4 percent..…

@it_unprofession I couldn't agree more. Most startups forget the basics and die due to overengineering. For them, showing off stacks is more important than the product itself.

Our intern just asked me why we don't use Kubernetes. I said because we don't need Kubernetes. He said everyone uses Kubernetes. I said everyone TALKS about using Kubernetes. Most companies are running Docker containers on three servers and calling it a day. We have 40 employees. Our entire infrastructure runs on AWS with auto-scaling groups. It works fine. Kubernetes is designed for companies running thousands of services across hundreds of servers. We have twelve services. But he read that Kubernetes is "industry standard" so now he thinks we're behind. This is what happens when people learn from tech Twitter instead of actual experience. They think every company is Google-scale and needs Google-scale solutions. We don't need Kubernetes. We need our MySQL database to stop running out of connections because someone wrote a query that doesn't close properly. But that's not exciting. Nobody writes blog posts about "I fixed a connection leak." They write about "How we migrated to Kubernetes and saved millions" even though the migration cost more than they saved. I told the intern he should learn why tools exist before learning the tools themselves. He looked disappointed. He wanted to put Kubernetes on his resume.

@pbhushan1 Sir, I think the matter is already settled for Ayodhya. Why to bring it up again and again? Instead, we must be focusing on education and healthcare. Why these journalists are pulling us back in the past? We must talk about progress, not this.

Ayodhya to Gyanvapi: Srinivasan Jain Factchecks some astounding statements made by Justice or Baba? Chandrachud in his interview. He falsely claimed that the Babri mosque was made by demolishing a temple & that was a justification for handing over the land to the vandals who demolished the mosque. He also falsely claimed that it was undisputed that Hindus were always worshipping in basement of Gyanvapi mosque & that was reason enough to allow the suits by the VHP/RSS people to continue despite his Ayodhya judgement endorsing the Places of Worship Act which freezes the status of such Temples/mosques youtu.be/ZBytVYYZqOw?si… via @YouTube

@DebjaniBhatta20 @LiveLawIndia You either live in a cave or working for IT cell. E20 isn't a new invention by BJP. Multiple countries have implemented E5-E85 petrol for 3-4 decades. But options are available in every bunk. E10 cars aren't compatible to E20, and would cause serious damage to engine & parts.

IMHO whether or not E20 would be harmful for vehicles reducing mileage & road-life can't be conceived without continuous usage of E20 for a significant span e.g. 10 years. A comparative controlled trial seems necessary for E20 vis-a-vis normal fuel which is never possible without using E20. How does the Supreme Court feature in? x.com/shantihp/statu…

I appeal to the citizens of our country to prioritize purchasing goods that are Made in India. Whether it's decorative items or gifts, let us choose products manufactured within our own nation. I also encourage businesses to refrain from selling items sourced from other countries. These small yet impactful steps can play a significant role in driving our nation's progress and prosperity. -PM @narendramodi

India has solidified its role as a key player in the global biofuels landscape in the past decade. Ethanol blending has soared from a mere 1.5% in 2014 to an impressive 12% in 2023, and over 4,000 outlets now offering E20 fuel. #GlobalBiofuelsAllianceAtG20

@NJambunathan1 @amitmalviya There are 150+ dialects in Bengali language. If you travel across WB, you would notice the dialects changes after every 5 km. This is also applicable in other bordering states like Assam and 7 sister states in NE. Also count in Andaman.

@amitmalviya The Bengali spoken in Bangladesh is distinctively different from the one spoken in Bengal. A loosely drafted communication cannot change this fact.

Mamata Banerjee’s reaction to Delhi Police referring to the language used by infiltrators as ‘Bangladeshi’ is not just misplaced, it is dangerously inflammatory. Nowhere in the Delhi Police letter is Bangla or Bengali described as a ‘Bangladeshi’ language. To claim otherwise and call upon Bengalis to rise against the Centre is deeply irresponsible. Mamata Banerjee should be held accountable—perhaps even under the National Security Act—for inciting linguistic conflict. Let me explain. Delhi Police is absolutely right in referring to the language as Bangladeshi in the context of identifying infiltrators. The term is being used to describe a set of dialects, syntax, and speech patterns that are distinctly different from the Bangla spoken in India. The official language of Bangladesh is not only phonologically different, but also includes dialects like Sylheti that are nearly incomprehensible to Indian Bengalis. There is, in fact, no language called “Bengali” that neatly covers all these variants. “Bengali” denotes ethnicity, not linguistic uniformity. So when the Delhi Police uses “Bangladeshi language,” it is a shorthand for the linguistic markers used to profile illegal immigrants from Bangladesh—not a commentary on Bengali as spoken in West Bengal. For context, Ananda Math was written in Bangla of the era, against the backdrop of the Sanyasi Rebellion. The iconic Vande Mataram was composed separately, in Sanskrit, and later grafted into the novel. Jana Gana Mana, originally composed and sung as a Brahmo hymn, was written in Sanskritised Bangla. Such nuances are clearly lost on the poorly lettered Mamata Banerjee.
Mamata Banerjee@MamataOfficial

See now how Delhi police under the direct control of Ministry of Home, Government of India is describing Bengali as " Bangladeshi" language! Bengali, our mother tongue, the language of Rabindranath Tagore and Swami Vivekananda, the language in which our National Anthem and the National Song (the latter by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay) are written, the language in which crores of Indians speak and write, the language which is sanctified and recognised by the Constitution of India, is now described as a Bangladeshi language!! Scandalous, insulting, anti- national, unconstitutional!! This insults all Bengali-speaking people of India. They cannot use this kind of language which degrades and debases us all. We urge immediate strongest possible protests from all against the anti-Bengali Government of India who are using such anti-Constitutional language to insult and humiliate the Bengali- speaking people of India

While we enjoy the convenience of quick commerce I’d like my first tweet of 2025 to be about the dark side. Platform owners exploit gig workers & they aren’t job creators. They are landlords without owning any land. They don’t have a bone of creativity or innovation all they do is exploit people by offering them freedom that they can’t afford while giving them wages that can’t meet their aspirations. They are thugs that are using data as oil without paying for the oil fields. Someday there will be regulation that humbles them…

Had an extraordinary experience today. While i was sitting in the garden, reading my morning newspapers, a monkey wandered in, headed straight for me and parked himself on my lap. He hungrily ate a couple of bananas we offered him, hugged me and proceeded to rest his head on my chest and dozed off. I gently began to get up, he leapt off and loped away. 🙏

#Neet_Scam_2024 Education minister Dharmendra Pradhan had denied any paper leak in the #NEET_परीक्षा on 13th June and gave clean chit to the National Testing Agency. Just two days later Gujarat police held the NTA officials . In Godhara, the entire examination centre of NEET Exam being conducted by NTA was part of the paper leak! Police seized Cheques worth Rs. 2.3 Crores! Total failure of central govt ! Hope justice happens with our children !
