These Middlesbrough fans have travelled to Ipswich away for today’s game via a night away in night in Magaluf, which all worked out cheaper than getting the train direct. 😆👏 Fair play to them, but more needs to be done with the scandalous train prices in this country… 😤

This is goodbye 👋 I have been giving this a lot of thought over the past couple of months and I’ve decided, due to changing circumstances that I will no longer be updating this account or any other accounts. It’s been a lot of fun over the past 8 years I’ve been on this platform and I’ve learned a significant amount about weather and forecasting, thank you for following along and joining in and I hope my updates over the years have proven useful. In my mind, the landscape for weather information is shifting and accounts like mine are becoming less useful or relied upon in the way they once were. The rise of misinformation and personal attacks directed by idiots, towards those who post “red maps” and discuss weather mean that this hobby is no longer fun, it’s become rather tedious and I’ve always said when it stops being fun then it’s time to stop. I will still be tracking and keeping an eye on the weather more privately, of course, my interest in that side of things is still very much alive and likely always will be! ⛈️ God speed ✈️ stay safe. Spend as much time in nature as you possibly can. Enjoy the weather, whatever it is. Thank you.

@philerskine @alexanderrX_ The equivalent journey does not cost €6. I paid €35 to go from Bologna to Florence which is 37 minutes. Those countries also often only sell one ticket per seat so if there’s not many seats left, get ready to pay something eye watering

so apparently it’s my fault the trains are expensive. I should have: > booked 6 months in advanced > chose a cheaper train that gets me in at 1am > get multiple journey tickets instead of direct ok thanks. definitely not a problem here…

I'm sorry, but this is so far from tragic... this is exactly what we need more of in the Premier League. Noisy young fans bringing vibrancy to stadiums where the average age of a fan is creeping past mid-forties. Make their tickets cheaper, give them more standing room.
