@easlonotes Shortcuts and app intents are extremely underrated. You can do pretty cool stuff without even opening an app!

iOS developers: How long is App Review taking for everyone these days? It is now taking longer to get our app approved than it is to build the actual features.

Are you an RC customer and want your app icon featured on our signup page? We're building an app icon wall ala WWDC 2009(?) and looking for volunteers. Reply with your app link and you hereby officially consent to me putting in on our website (this is legally official)

@rudrank They rejected mine last week for the exact same reason. The funny thing is that Apple apps has the same UX

I have made no changes whatsoever to the onboarding since 1.5 years. App rejected that the app froze on continue button. I am so annoyed that I will add the private endpoint for rejection and resolution center in the asc cli

Started the markets bright and early with a pretty decent score, a Valentine! Seller just arrived and was the first thing he pulled put of the car. Asking 50 but managed to grab it for 25. I know it’s overbudget but I’ve been looking for one for quite some time

I have a very small car, but I like camping. 🏕️ I want to buy some storage boxes that I can quickly put in the boot to make it much easier to move and organize all my gear. How do I find the right size? I 3D-scanned my car’s boot and vibe-coded a quick tool that lets me simulate boxes, calculate the maximum dimensions, and try different layouts. Overkill? Maybe, but lots of fun!

I thought the adv disclaimer was a legal requirement… but apparently it doesn’t apply to vibe coding apps 👀

Recently @rork just dropped Rork Max, an AI that claims to build iOS apps and games through vibe coding with zero experience needed. Sounds magical until you read the fine print. Here's the catch, you actually dont need an Apple developer account ($99/year), can only publish 3 apps under Rork's account (legally they own your apps, not you - imagine building something successful and having zero IP rights), and it costs $200/month which is insane for what you get. The vibe-coded output quality? Expect App Store rejections galore for crashes, memory leaks, and guideline violations. And for games they claim to build? Runtime debugging is essential, you need to catch frame drops, physics bugs, and memory issues in real-time. No AI can handle that, especially on Xcode where even experienced devs struggle 😂 Even funnier, paid "builders" are already blindly promoting this subscription without ever shipping a real app themselves. I'm not saying it's a bad product. I'm saying it's selling false dreams to people at the start of their journey who may have quit their jobs or are living on savings hoping to build the next big thing. $200/month is massive for them, that's $2,400/year, more than most make from their first apps. And when they see these "builders" hyping unrealistic promises like "I made $10k in my first month," they fall into the trap thinking it'll happen to them too. To those so-called builders: I know you're struggling too and affiliate income feels like easy money, but you shouldn't push others deeper into debt just to make a quick buck promoting a dream that isn't real. The people buying this are often the most vulnerable, new to tech, full of hope, and trusting your recommendations.
