Being insistent could be the one thing that could save you. Too many women were diagnosed a little too late; situations and conditions that could have been avoided. Know your body and do not take your health for granted. #health #healthmatters #womenshealth

A message to the Queens out there: If you ever feel like something is off in/with your body, do not let anyone convince you otherwise. Seek the professional help you need and do not back down with insisting that the necessary checks be done. #womenshealth #health

Justin Bieber's 'everything hallelujah' making the rounds reminds us to stop and smell the roses, to live in the moment and appreciate any and everything. A reminder is always welcome to help us put things in perspective even when things might not be exactly as we hope.

I visited Algeria in November, the first North African country I had been to. I was pleasantly surprised by the country's beauty. I ate my way through, enjoyed the hospitality, I only saw a tiny bit but I definitely recommend visiting. Read about it 👇🏾belletammy.blogspot.com/2026/04/visiti…

@instablog9ja He has no confidence in getting treatment in the country he runs. This only highlights the need to fix the Nigerian health system.

Earlier today, on my orders, the Nigerian armed forces stood gallantly as a defender and protector of constitutional order in the Republic of Benin on the invitation of the government. Our armed forces acted within the ambit of the ECOWAS @ecowas_cedeao Protocol on Democracy and Good Governance. They have helped stabilise a neighbouring country and have made us proud of their commitment to sustaining our democratic values and ideals since 1999. Nigeria stands firmly with the government and people of the Republic of Benin. ~ PBAT

Nigeria is finally seeing the true cost of neglected children. Those 20 million out-of-school kids didn’t disappear, they grew up into the bandits, kidnappers and terrorists we are now fighting with billions of dollars. When a child is ignored, society pays the price later… with interest. Neglect education today, battle insecurity tomorrow. This is the harvest of the seeds we refused to plant.

I entered a car yesterday and as usual people started discussing the whole kidnapping situation in the country. Before we knew it the conversation shifted to politics, how Tinubu is basically a figurehead president, how nothing is working, and how it feels like the only thing happening in Aso Rock is the embezzlement of public funds for generational wealth. One man inside the bus said we Yorubas are ungrateful, that no matter how bad things get we are supposed to support the president blindly. He even added, “No be today dem dey kpai people,” like Nigerians being kidnapped and killed is something normal we should just accept. He did not know our driver was an Ilorin man. Next thing the driver quietly parked, told all of us to come down because he wanted to check something in the bus. Before we understood what was happening he unboarded the man, gave him back his money right there in a bushy environment, and drove off with the rest of us. Not a single person begged on his behalf. We all just kept quiet because this country has tired everybody. And honestly that moment summed up Nigeria perfectly. People are angry, frustrated, scared, and exhausted. Every day we hear of kidnappings, killings, inflation, joblessness, and a government that feels completely disconnected from the reality on ground. Everyone is just trying to survive and the empathy people used to have for each other is slowly disappearing because everyone is fighting their own battles. What happened today reminded me that Nigerians are on edge. We are living in a country where insecurity is normalised and hardship is now part of daily conversation. People do not even have the strength to argue anymore, survival has humbled everybody.

@SenRemiTinubu There have been one too many "deeply saddened messages". This is a time to act and not pray for God to grant rescue. The government is responsible for the rescue of these girls and should do everything within their power to get the girls back to safety.

I am deeply saddened by the news of the abduction of the 25 students of the Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School, Maga, Kebbi State and the tragic killing of the Vice Principal. This heartbreaking incident is not only an attack on innocent girls and dedicated educators, but an assault on the values of safety and learning that schools embody. Mr President has already ordered our security agencies to ensure the quick and safe return of the abducted girls and to bring the perpetrators to justice. My heart and prayers are with the families, friends, loved ones and schoolmates at this time. I pray almighty God grants quick rescue to the abducted girls and may the soul of the departed Vice Principal rest in Aljannah Firdaus. ~ Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON

@NigeriaStories What exactly will Nigeria's contribution be at this time? The house is on fire yet there has been no acknowledgement despite the gravity of the issues at hand. If anything, the other leaders should query this. Charity begins at home! Fix your house in order to be taken seriously

@Joe__Bassey If this is true, it might unfortunately not be the smartest move. English is spoken worldwide and given that we happen to be classified as "developing countries", a local language from Ghana won't be used or known worldwide. It is important to learn English for a wider reach.

Incredible, every African countries needs to emulate Ghana in this by embracing their languages as a medium of instruction while English can serve as a subject.

Failure doesn’t need to suggest the end; it can mean you’re one step closer to the triumph you desire. If something you've attempted has failed, try again. Consider a new perspective. Allow time for an idea to sit and simmer. Take notes. Never give up on your goals and dreams.

@Freyy_is I'm laughing at this but I should probably try it some time. Too many loudspeaker calls in public, and we are always expected to be okay with it.

i finally did it: someone was talking on the phone with loud speaker sitting close to me while we were inside the bus. so I joined the conversation with full confidence. when she gave me that “are you mad?” look, I said, “sorry,I thought it was a group call since you put it on loudspeaker for all of us.” she quietly told the person, “I’ll call you back,” and ended the call immediately. 🙂

Envy begins with empty hands; it mourns what it doesn’t have. Jealousy begins with full hands; it’s threatened by the pain of losing what it has to someone else despite efforts to hold on to it. Such a heavy burden to carry. Guard your heart for everything you do flows from it.
