New PRG4 paper on aging! The molecule that never ceases to surprise: Serum PRG4 down with age. Deficiency results in decreased survival in mice and accelerated skeletal aging in M mice. Great work by former PhD student @ATang029 and awesome collaborators. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/40537697/

A US judge has blocked a policy that would have, beginning today, slashed billions of dollars of funding annually for US research institutions, including universities and hospitals. The action is in response to a lawsuit filed by 22 US states earlier today contending that the policy was illegal. go.nature.com/3WTNp4G

Excited to share @LubrisBio’s full length recombinant human #PRG4 (#rhPRG4) / #lubricin drug product is released for an upcoming #dryeye clinical study in Australia. Packing and labelling is complete, and we’re ready for distribution upon ethics committee approval. Stay tuned!

Proud of the #PRG4 #lubricin manufacturing progress made working with @LubrisBio & @AvidBioservices the past 2+ years = a 500L GMP run. Eye drop bottles now filled as we push towards the clinic and 2 GRAMS (!) of #rhPRG4 leftover for future preclinical research the next 5+ years.

Great time catching up with friends at #ARVO, and presenting a poster on the therapeutic effects of recombinant human #PRG4 #lubricin on the ocular manifestations of GVHD (administered systemically or periocular)! Great preclinical work by lab of Dr. Victor Perez, more to come.
