Lesson 2: You need a VPN because TikTok’s algorithm first targets local viewers. Try checking your audience traffic in TikTok Studio to see it yourself. If you want to target users in the US while you’re in Vietnam like me, a VPN or proxy is necessary. If you’re already in the US, you don’t need one unless you want to scale with 10–30–100 accounts, in which case you’ll need it to avoid spam bans. As for automation, if your account is already trustworthy and has lot of followers, it can work. But if it’s a completely new account and you use automation tools right away, I’m not so sure.
