Some days feel normal, other days I remember that I'm 5 years into multiple legal ordeals because some people don't like the opinions I shared publicly, in what is allegedly a free country. That I lost a 13-year career in healthcare for saying that humans don't change sex.

When this madness ends, which it will, one of the ugliest things to look back on will be how women weren't even allowed to the dignity of owning their sex-specific trauma. The misogyny is simply breathtaking.

@jk_rowling To say that female sport should be fair shouldn't be called bigotry. To say that male bodies (even when inhabited by trans women) have an unfair advantage over females in sport is a legitimate stance. To yell 'bigot' at anyone trying to make this point is childish and ignorant.

A surprising number of people are keen to tell me they once liked my books, but don't think women and girls deserve fair sport. I'm genuinely not sure what you expect me to do with that information. It's not like I was looking forward to having you over for dinner.
