Female octopuses are actively throwing objects at males that won’t leave them alone. This unusual behavior has been observed in the wild, where females use shells, silt, and debris to push away persistent males. Researchers studying these interactions suggest it may be a defensive response to unwanted mating attempts, showing surprising control, awareness, and intentional behavior in these intelligent marine animals. @tausi_ @tomisin_ms But people are quick to talk about bio essentialism when males are like these across species. Has it really been about male socialization as humans to be misogynistic or they're just inherently evil? How do you want to fuck when your child is in danger???

He’s trying to mount her while her baby is drowning, and she’s trying to save him. Reminds me of that video of a husband trying to cuddle up to his wife while she was breastfeeding. Men are really something across all species.

If a random stranger especially an old person starts talking to you in the supermarket or elsewhere please be patient because you may be the only one this person has spoken to for days, weeks or even a month. Be kind because you never know one day that this person might be you, not by choice but by circumstance. ❤️ Old people can be lonely people.

That’s why you’re so tired, so drained, and so frustrated, because you’ve given your last effort trying to help people, but the gate is closing, babe. It’s time to jump and truly enjoy your life. That’s the only way they’re going to learn. You have to walk away and remove your energy for good. You can’t keep giving it, or you are going to fail, or even devolve, and nothing’s worse than seeing you lose yourself after all of the work you’ve done. Don’t do that to yourself.

🧘🏽‍♀️✨🐉 If you are aligned, this message is for you: this is your time to truly enjoy your life, and by enjoying your life, you will help heal the world. You are the first woman in your lineage getting this opportunity. You’re not supposed to be wasting it trying to pull people up anymore. You are not supposed to be “boots on the ground” anymore. That time is over. That’s why I’m saying fuck these groups, fuck the titles—live life, babes. That is how we heal, because that energy is infectious.

It’s not a child’s responsibility to reach out to their dad. It’s a father’s job to reach out to his children.

Every self-betrayal is a sin. Whenever you go against your nature/intuition, the Universe makes a point, not to punish you, but to remind you. The discomfort, the delays, the lessons, the mirrors, they’re not coincidences, but reminders. Not to shame you, but to guide you back.

One reason outdoor time matters so much for young children is what it does for their eyes. Bright sunlight releases dopamine in the retina, which prevents the eyeball from becoming elongated. When the eyeball elongates, light focuses in front of the retina instead of on it, and that is what causes nearsightedness. Kids who spend more time outdoors have lower rates of nearsightedness because their eyes are getting the light exposure they need to develop properly. Myopia in the US went from 25% in the 1970s to over 40% today. Kids are spending more time indoors and on screens than any generation before them. It checks out.

That's what men do to women to get women's energies, they feed on that stuff and so when a woman is indifferent they don't get to feed of off her energies. It's a life hack to not be bothered by men's actions because you don't get drained.
Rhoda@Symply_rhoda1

I discovered a life hack by accident. A relative insulted me, and I missed it. I just kept being nice to him, so he insulted me again. He ended up stopping the conversation to let me know I was supposed to be insulted. It bothered him that I didn't react. You know what…? Let them own their nastiness, you don't have to accept what they throw at you.
