RankedAGI is alive again after way too long. I've rebuilt the entire foundation. Ditched Supabase for a custom JSON-based data layer with a dedicated admin system. What used to take hours now takes minutes. The backend friction that was killing my update velocity? Gone.

Thanks! Hmmm the Operator app is an interesting project. I've been using it as my daily driver since March I think. My take on it so far is I'm building it for exactly how I want to use it. As the weeks go by and I keep adding features to scratch my own itch(es), its starting to look a bit different to the others, little by little... So I think it'll be highly opinionated, and it will appeal to some, and not to others. I know that's quite vague, but I will definitely get into it some more.

I quietly pushed a new website live recently - operatorkit.ai - a little hub for the AI tools I'm building, separate from my WordPress stuff. This is going to be my little hub of high quality tools to help us "Operators" in our day to day. It says in the hero section - "Handcrafted, with AI" - which I think is the underlying tone that will run through all the tools I publish there. There are a couple of tools there already: - Help Scout CLI - lets your agent manage your Help Scout - with PII redaction. - Dash CLI - shortcuts for your command line (you didn't know you needed them) And there are some bigger projects on the way - I'll do a proper write-up soon. If you're doing things with AI it might be worth keeping an eye on (there's a signup on the site). This is still a work in progress - so take a look and let me know what you think.

Got rate limited mid-task yesterday and had to switch from Fable to GPT-5.6 Terra. 6 hours of back-and-forth context entirely gone.Lost 90 minutes just getting a different model up to speed on the project goals. Hitting a usage cap at the worst possible moment sucks. We desperately need a universal way to share context across different models.

@twostraws @MCLang88 It's not her. Even the smartest minds of silicon valley got confused with the update and ended up having 3 apps on mac, with no idea which one to keep, which one to delete and where did the chat go. It was a really bad update.

@MCLang88 I have no idea what she has done, only that whatever the hell "ChatGPT" launches now is not what I expect at all.

Alright, I give up: my younger daughter updated ChatGPT and now only has Codex. The app is called ChatGPT. How the heck do I get it back to ChatGPT for her? She doesn't want Codex. She doesn't understand Pull Requests or Plugins, she just wants to practice a school subject.

Okey friends. We got GPT-5.6, Fable 5, Grok 4.5 and Spark 1.1 Now Gemini 3.5 Pro is the only major release left. And after that, I'd say Opus 5 and Fable 5.1?

I made sure there was no git and requested to place the real code someplace I wouldn't know or be able to dig out, etc. But the absolute best way would be to ask another developer you trust to make and install something like this for you.

I was on the same page and tried every single thing you mentioned and more, but sadly I always found a way to break the locks. So I figured if I could just stack enough locks, even when they're breakable, it would add enough friction that I'd give up. This worked sometimes but when I was super low, friction didn't matter. I started working with LLMs (it was a pretty stupid one by current standards) to lock my system in a way that I can never figure it out myself, and not even know how its being run, so the process obfuscates itself in such a way that I cannot break it. Also it knows all my hacks so it must harden itself for all of them. The only option to open even in an emergency is that on request, it sends a message on telegram through a bot to my wife and if she responds with a certain message that only she knows, then it will unblock the system but with a delay of 1 hour. A hacked up version of this actually worked and helped me for many months. To be frank, since I started the ADHD medicines, the problem got solved enough that only 1-2 layers of blocks are now enough for me. But now the models are smart, I'm sure fable/Sol can cook something up for you in this vein.
