@CRSMARYLAND Yes, after all SUPER5 R&D is done. We are finishing up the dock now.

18 months of R&D, just as many failed revisions, and more than $200K in costs. SUPER5 OLED HDMI is finally done. This is the first fully assembled device in the world. You can't imagine how relieved I am that it works. This was the most difficult project I've ever worked on.

@NintyPrime do you know if Tony Hawk 3/4 has a free upgrade to NS2? I generally like to buy on NS1 and do upgrades if possible so I can play on both platforms - I currently in eShop just see the same price offered for both and no upgrades mentioned

@ChrisRGun Amazing to listen back to episode 2 of Sacred Symbols and hear talk of the God Of War TV show and then some many years later it come back for real - episode 1 was also interesting with talk of Cyberpunk and how it shouldn’t come to PS4 - fun perspective listening now

@KingNintendoFan @jtsknight92 @nron10 @ConnectivityNWR That’s right! Remember paying for some of the subs, but forgot about the slots - this felt like a more thoughtful FPS where you could have these intense fights and plan out moves more so than a fast paced traditional FPS

@tchaten @jtsknight92 @nron10 @ConnectivityNWR It was cool but it has one of the worst pay to win aspects of any Nintendo game. Giving you the option to buy more captain slots.... FOR EVERY SUB! Other than that I did have fun and also got the Morse code down. Also Blue Marine.

@jtsknight92 @nron10 @ConnectivityNWR Loved the mention of one of my favorite 3DS games Sub Wars a game I knew Morse Code from by the end of my time with it - some truly intense battles in that game - freaking awesome game that wish would live on in the Switch some how.

@nron10 Xenoblade 3 question for you - I just entered the first combat encounter in chapter 6 - after some very cool story bits in the fog - mainlining it in easy mode how many hours do you think are left?

@mattbirchler I was the lone person in my family delighted by this weird incredible film - some of the “juvenile” jokes turned people off sadly - incredible movie with so much creativity - loved seeing Short Round back! Some of his lines sounded so much like an older him!

@culafia The only 2 left for me are DS 2 and 3 - taking on 2 next - hear it is very different and that sounds rad so I can close out my year of From Soft with 3 which I hear is a refined 1

@culafia In case no one else has mentioned it post podcast - the Dragon Rot thing isn’t a result of you using the resurrections, but pure deaths - freaking love that game started it when I was sick earlier this year and less than 2 weeks later had it Platinumed - some wild times

@culafia Parrying is something I’m now much better at for the other souls games thanks to this one - I’ll dig up my final boss win video after you conquer him! So many phases!!

@culafia Yea that one took everything I had! So glad PS5 does the game capture stuff automatically so I can watch the wins after endless hours of attempts! My watch was also capturing some fun heart rate jumps!

@culafia Oh congrats!! Yea I didn’t find it to be a huge mechanic - plenty of the cure to use if there is something that blocks NPC progression! Just finished my 5th FromSoft game - Dark Souls Remastered my first time though - incredible game -

@tchaten I have deciphered that as of today tho appreciate the reinforcement. Im still not positive whether I should be paying attention to that though 🤔 Right now Im at Ashina Castle gearing up for the second big boss. Just took down the spear general where the master was orig. kept 🥳

@jeffcannata What would be the Nick Cage movies most worth checking out prior to seeing the Unbearable Weight?

@nron10 @zmiller1902 Also if I discovered Metroid Dread after this and got really into Metroid like I just did;which I’m sure will happen for others - it will suck if that game ends up jumping up in price for a cart - replaying 3D Zelda games also seems that 3DS is the best way for that for OOT/MM :(

@nron10 @zmiller1902 Wanted to share that I’m now LOVING the Metroid series; I’d only tried Super Metroid for a few minutes in the past and bailed, but Metroid Dread made me fall in love with the series! 100%d Dread and have now gone back & beaten Zero Mission and Samus Returns!

@nron10 @zmiller1902 Yea I booted that up today and so bonkers Nintendo making fun of themselves with the 4DS! - Also out of curiosity I booted up Sub Wars and could still find online matches; although I won both matches and I haven’t played in years so perhaps the Sub Wars pros have moved on
