Re: The Age Problem in wrestling, it’s a very real thing in WWE that even they are cognizant about when it comes to trying to elevate younger guys into the main event scene. I saw the Bryan Alvarez clip and personally I don’t think it’s a problem AEW still has. They very much did back in January when so much of the show was built around Jeff Jarrett, Chris Jericho, and Adam Copeland, but in my view they rectified it in the spring and very much rerouted things to where MJF/Hangman/Swerve/Ospreay became your focused core. And in the same period Jetspeed emerged as did Brodido. (Brody King isn’t super young but it’s a new face in that upper tier spot) Kyle Fletcher main evented a PPV too. I think AEW have actually been very responsible in terms of positioning themselves well as some key names being to age out. I expect Samoa Joe to be a transitional champion.
