I told my 8 year old that we used to have 5-6 team helmets and 2 team bats that everyone shared. Blew his mind.

I don’t know how many times I’ll have to repeat this, but here we go. The money he keeps ranting about was Iran’s money that we owed for military equipment the Shah bought but we never delivered (plus interest). We repaid it to settle a dispute before the Iran-US Claims Tribunal because we would’ve had to pay far more if the tribunal had ruled in that case. The cash he’s talking about was delivered in Swiss Francs and Euros because we could not actually transfer dollars to Iran.

@tdbayer2 I didn't know football, soccer and wrestling were free? 😂 Kidding aside that's what my kids do but there's a lot of kids who specialize early and get locked into the season to season baseball.

If I had the opportunity to work with a group of 8u to 11u baseball players this is what the training would look like. Instead of an extended season through summer and fall, the entire focus of that time period would be on global athletic development. #LTAD
