North Carolina is one of only two Southern states that don’t have constitutional carry. The NCGA has us looking like Virginia Jr out here. It’s unacceptable. Stein vetoed the Freedom to Carry Act. For months the override vote has been kicked down the road. It’s finally been rescheduled for June 20th. We need to start advocating for our gun rights now. Call your state reps. Write them letters. Send emails. Show up in Raleigh. Two reps have stepped away from the Democrat party: Carla Cunningham and Nasif Majeed. Appeal to them. Appeal to all of them. Let them know that gun culture is Southern culture. It’s North Carolina culture. This bill won’t last forever. Eventually, it will die and we’ll have to start the process all over again. It’s time to get this done. 💯
