I enjoyed my visit to @QueenMaryHwdsb earlier this week! I was welcomed by Principal Kelly McCrory, Vice Principal Bilal Ahmed, and two student tour guides who were especially excited to show me the new Maker Space in the Learning Commons.

At our PD Day today we had the pleasure of inviting our QM staff to have fun and explore our #makerspace They got to play with Dash Robots, @LEGO_Group, 3D Printers, #cricut , @KNEX, @microbit_edu, @VEXRobotics, among others! @QueenMaryHwdsb @HWDSB @Director_HWDSB @jademahwdsb

Come to school with us for #firstdayHWDSB 🎒 There was a buzz in yesterday's air at @QueenMaryHwdsb where students, staff, and families were eager to begin the 2022-23 school year. We loved seeing so many smiling faces before the first bell!

Kudos to @teach_mcc and @NaomiWEller6, plus the QM @HWDSBSummerCamp #CampCLIMB team for creating this incredible STEAM bridge building challenge based on a book read. Kids worked in groups and with instructors to plan a bridge. 1/?
