@EducationP101 I wouldn’t even use the word “often” these days…because more often than not it seems to be other factors now.

I’m so sick of seeing the “teachers quit cause of bad admin” posts. No. Teachers ALSO quit because… - wage isn’t livable - no support from school board - parents who work against them - unrealistic expectations - unlivable work hours And MANY other things. Can we stop acting like everything is the admin fault? Yes, there are TERRIBLE admin out there. But there are so many areas we can work on instead of always placing the blame in one place. #RantOver

@ShaneKinggramps @GrizzysHoodNews But keep in mind that students doing this to teachers ends up being punished by oss, then they are right back in the same classroom with the same teacher they beat on 🤦‍♀️

@NicholasFerroni As a highly qualified teacher (with the data to support it), I’m being pushed out of education. I guess that’s what happens when you speak up to advocate for the students.

If we don’t pay, resource, support and value teachers—soon there won’t be many teachers left. We can’t claim to care about children and not support, pay and resource the people who spend the most time with the largest number of children.

@alicekeeler Me. I have Lego for my students. So long as they are engaged, they can play with them, or draw, or whatever.

This person is super engaged in the presentation even though she is knitting. How many of us would let a student knit?

I'm honestly ready to quit. I was told by an observer from HR, that I didn't teach a lesson today in class. MA'AM. ARE YOU SERIOUS???

@cenkuygur I’m trying to build my experience now. But the only way to tell is to have that experience. I hope and pray that my constituents help keep me grounded as I strive to hold others accountable.

Here’s what we need in 2024 to save the country: 1. An outsider. No one inside the system can, or wants to, change the system. 2. Someone really smart. So that eliminates entire Republican Party. 3. Someone, for once, with good intent. Is there one such person in entire country?
