Here is an interesting adjective quirk that you probably aren’t even aware you are doing. In English, adjectives seem to follow a specific order: opinion - size - age - shape - color - origin - material - purpose - noun

@dst6n01 This week in Oklahoma we launched a free SOR training for teachers in grades 4-8. Participants will complete ~15 hours of module work in foundational literacy skills and also attend 3 Zoom meetings to reinforce learning & identify application strategies. sde.ok.gov/language-arts

For my middle school teacher friends... Recent data indicate that students may be entering (or moving) through grades 6-8 with serious and strong reading needs. What can you do to support student reading and writing skills? (All contents welcome to respond!)

Yes, it’s annoying when people watch videos in public spaces, but I’m also tired of businesses blasting in music to create a special aesthetic. Restaurants do this, but other places do too. People know how to have conversations, and silences aren’t necessarily uncomfortable.
