🚨 Trump just made it clear: America is done getting screwed by China, now we’re winning big. When asked about the big summit with Xi Jinping, President Trump didn’t mince words: “I have a great relationship with President Xi. We do a lot of business. It’s smart business. We used to be taken advantage of for years by our previous presidents… now we’re doing great with China. We make a lot of money with China.” And he’s bringing the heavy hitters with him, Elon Musk, Tim Cook, Larry Fink, Stephen Schwarzman, and top CEOs from Cargill, Citigroup, and more. This isn’t some weak photo-op. This is America First deal-making at the highest level. No more one-sided trade that guts our workers. No more bending the knee. Trump’s walking in strong, with the best minds in business behind him, to make sure China pays fair and America wins. This is what real leadership looks like. Results over rhetoric.

Liberal Mark Carney is making it more expensive to grow, ship, and store food, all while our farmers are being squeezed and Canadians can't afford to eat. Our Conservative plan: scrap the industrial carbon tax and take all taxes off gas and groceries now: conservative.ca/cpc/make-food-…

@gtlem TMX finally got built after years of Liberal delays and legal warfare. One project after a decade of fighting doesn’t erase the broader record of blocked pipelines, killed refineries, and red tape. We’re still exporting raw and paying premium at the pump.

$2.11 a litre. Let that sink in. We have more oil than almost anyone on the planet, yet Ottawa spent years killing pipelines, burying refineries in red tape, and demonizing the very industry that could have made us rich. Now Americans have us by the throat and Canadian families pay the price. This is what Liberal “net zero” ideology actually looks like at the pump. Read the full wake-up call here 👇

@politico Mark Carney’s Liberal government is the real issue. The U.S. doesn’t need Canada as a trading partner. With roughly 10% of the U.S. population, Canada has no leverage to negotiate anything.

🚨 BOOM! PRESIDENT TRUMP JUST SIGNED A MAJOR PRESIDENTIAL PERMIT FOR A NEW TRANSPORTER PIPELINE! “This is similar to the old Keystone XL pipeline. It’s going to massively expand our ability to move oil around North America. It’s a huge deal for long-term energy dominance and energy security.” Trump roasting the last administration: “Slightly different than the last administration. They wouldn’t sign a pipeline deal… They go underground, nobody even notices they’re there. So crazy they wouldn’t approve it.” Energy dominance is BACK.

@SenatorShaheen US imports significantly more from China than Canada. In 2025, US imported US$327 B in goods; Canada's imports were C$90 B (US$66 B). US is a major global consumer of Chinese products, ranking among its top trade partners, though Mexico has recently challenged China's top spot.

What do you propose David? Continue to subsidize them and give them a free lunch on trade? While our middle class and poor do worse and the rich in America do better. You people champion that you’re for the poor and the rich, however the rich seemed to favor you. And there’s a reason for it. Because you gain off our back.

The Notwithstanding Clause is integral to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and an unassailable provincial constitutional right. Alberta Premier Peter Lougheed insisted it be included to protect the autonomy of provinces to uphold the values and priorities of the people they represent from decisions of activist courts. In Alberta, we have used it carefully and lawfully to stand up for the parental right to be involved in their children’s lives, to protect children so they can make important health decisions as adults, to ensure fairness in sport, and to keep students learning in the classroom. We are extremely disappointed that Minister Sean Fraser would risk national unity and a foundational principle of our constitution by attempting to attack the use of the notwithstanding clause by sovereign provincial governments.
