I earned my doctorate degree last night from @kennesawstate! From a student who struggled in school w/ learning disabilities & diagnosed depression. This post is for that person. You can do it, trust God and ultimately be confident in who God designed you to be! #DrWalkup

When we built education around standardized tests, we didn’t teach kids how to think — we taught them how to memorize, obey, and perform. Now we’re seeing the results: Adults who can’t handle disagreement without feeling attacked.. Adults who chase clout instead of character. Adults who can pass a test but can’t pass a life test — like patience, self-control, or critical thinking. Testing taught them how to follow instructions, not how to lead their own lives. The real cost of "teaching to the test" isn’t lower SAT scores — it’s grown adults stuck in teenage mindsets, still waiting for someone to tell them what matters.
