@heathervescent SecurID tokens used to do this. Use a pin one higher than your correct pin and get a working OTP and a duress alert back at base. Sounds like a great idea to use with account numbers / cards

My crazy hypnogogic mind: Duress credit card numbers. Credit card or account transfer numbers that are tagged as being used when you're under duress. The bank "holds" the transfer, or otherwise slows down the flow & collects KYC on the transfer end to identify a criminal action.

Find and pursue something interesting that delights you especially, so you become a kind of temporary expert in some phenomenon that you heard about. It’s the way to save your soul — then you can always say, “Well, at least the other guys don’t know anything about this!”
