Here's a hard truth for you: if you really thought living as an unwanted child was worse than death, you'd have killed yourself by now. You must be young to be saying this because it's dramatic. Everyone is babying you in the comments. Stop being a drama queen and do something with your life. You think your the first person to feel these emotions or go through the shit you went through? Somewhere someone is doing worse than you and still doing better emotionally. Emotions are not permanent and you don't have to let them control you.

I get so upset talking about abortion bc the thing prolifers never seem to get is that being an unwanted child is a fate worse than death. They have no idea how horrible it is to know your parents don't want you.

@technomess Andrew Marlin is a favorite in my house. Dawes, vulfpack, Fleetwood Mac, king gizzard, lighthouse, Radiohead, steely Dan. I’d put heavier rock and metal on more often but the kids don’t like it as much as I do.

Wow that's awesome. I'm too lazy to make Sushi - mad respect to you. 😭 It's my husband who likes to make dishes that are precise like that and he's great at it. He does a lot of the Japanese too. I'm from a SE Texas Cajun family, but the only thing I know how to make is shrimp gumbo. 🤔 I should branch out bc Cajun food is so legit.

@technomess I consider Asian food to be my speciality. I like making stir-fry, sweet and sour soup, sushi (not with raw fish), and chicken katsu. My husband likes to make Cajun and Mexican food mostly (he's from Louisiana.)

Ya! We got a bunch of chile powders of the different dried chiles so it's super easy to whip stuff like this up instead of having to prep the dried peppers and blend them. You might like the carne adovada, Chile Colorado, or one of my all time favs, cochinita pibil. They're all slow cooker dishes but they're super versatile and can be used in traditional dinners with sides, tacos, nachos, breakfast burritos, etc. What's been your favorite go to?

@technomess That sounds incredible. Mexican is my favorite cuisine. I've been learning how to make it this summer (instead of my usual Midwestern tex-mex.) I had to google "birria"- it sounds so good. My husband makes a similiar dish, but we need to try dipping the tortillas.
