Around the year 2000, domestic production (combined with refining) covered about 98% of Australia’s total petroleum product needs (petrol, diesel, jet fuel, etc.). At that time, there were still eight operating refineries. Politicians have since wrecked this country. These overpaid useless fuckwits need dismissing. You bloody bet they do.
