Don't buy stocks in stage 4 downtrends. $WGS, which made a 5000%+ move, is now down 80% off its highs and 49% JUST TODAY!

$WGMI such a clean breakout over 52 on the back of $CIFR earnings and 23% move. This group is waking up in a big way and just getting started. Huge bases. Next up $IREN earnings Thursday.

SEC formally proposed allowing companies to file earnings reports semiannually instead of quarterly—a structural shift that could reshape how the market digests corporate performance. Potential less EPs, but I would imagine, they would lead to MUCH BIGGER SURPRISES AND REACTIONS.

Bitcoin is pushing higher and gaining some momentum, but I wouldn't get too excited just yet. If you take a look at a decade-long weekly chart, the big and trending moves happen when price > rising 30 and 40-week MAs

@ZaStocks Because it is human nature to trade what is familiar and perhaps what has treated you well in the past. Venturing into what is new inherently has uncertainty.

I see people focusing on 2023-2025 leaders. Why? You have to realize markets shift… the leaders of 2023-2025 haven’t been leaders in 2026, they’ve been laggards. Whether it’s $DELL $MRVL $ARM $DOCN $NET etc. the list could go on, there are new leading stocks. The market has evolved. We have entirely new themes, narratives, stories, etc. The runs that the 2023-2025 leaders had are taking place in new names, earlier in their lifecycle. That’s where you want to be, in new stocks emerging out of big bases early in their advance. Not to say 2023-2025 leaders can’t get going again, they can. But over the last five months it’s been clear who the leaders are, and they’re not the “old” leaders.

Still blows my mind the amount of alpha on X from biotech experts to DC/AI/Semi Conductor experts. If you construct your following in the right way you can trounce the market. Truly a paradigm shift for retail and the best part is it’s only going to continue to grow. No better time in history to be an investor. $SPY $QQQ $IWM

Memory stocks $MU $SNDK gap up day 2 now. Sandisk is 13ATR above the 50-DSMA, and Micron is heading North of it, too. Trims into strength are prudent soon, and if it really starts reaching extremes, then a para short is setting up.

@TedHZhang @Qullamaggie It's good to have rules such as if my drawdown is over 2 to 5%, stop trading for the month.

I suspect @Qullamaggie, even as good as he is, started trailing stocks on longer timeframes late 2021 into 2022, which led to massive open PnLs being given back. When the going gets good, our minds start extrapolating deep into the future precisely when we should be bringing oursleves back to reality.

No one wants to trail positions at the start of a new bull market & always too quick to take profits. Near the end, everyone wants to hold through the longer-term time frames. Funny to think about.

It almost always helps to take a higher-level perspective. It helps simplify decision making and reduces complexity. Look at weekly and monthly charts which put daily or lower timeframes into perspective. What is the FED doing? Where are rates headed? Is liquidity expanding or shrinking? Liquidity is the main driver of moves in markets.
