'Arteta must set out to win at the Etihad' is the most basic expectation of an Arsenal fan. Probably some neutral fans too. If I don't believe my team should set out to win, what's the point? I also do not see the connection between that and one's blood pressure. It's only football for me, nothing more. My views on the game have no consequence on my life or what happens on the field. I am genuinely shocked about how that simple view about a team setting out to win and all these attachments that have been added to it. I personally do not see any reason for them. It's just football for me, congratulations to whoever wins and best wishes to who loses, it's nothing more than a footnote in my real life. Arsenal haven't won the league since 2004, it has had zero bearing on my life. I do not know why it should matter what happens on the field other than to either celebrate a victory and then move or move on from a loss. I am shocked at some of the things I am reading just because I said a team should set out to win a football game. I had no idea it was this serious. I probably should keep my football opinions to myself more.

Hey Gooners, serious question: what approach should Arteta take at the Etihad? Sit deep, go brave, press high? Because if we go there with this ‘play it safe’ stuff, City will cook us alive. We need a plan, not pride. Arteta has to decide whether we go toe‑to‑toe or park the bus and pray for chaos. One wrong call and the title’s gone.
