@Farouk_Mokwa To add to it, make sure you meet all requirements stated in the advert. Then for the interview session, apart from your credentials that will be scored, you need to know your proposal in and out because you will get grilled on it. I won PTDF for Masters and PTDF/DAAD for PhD🙏

I have no idea of how it was done but I overheard someone saying they select the best 50 candidates for MSc and 30 for PhD from each States that meet the barest minimum requirements Such as qualifications (SSCE, First Degree, MSc), Membership, publications and SOP/PROPOSAL that's in line with oil and gas. There are points assigned to all of these requirements and a system is given a prompt to select the best 100 from each state that are later subjected to another screening to pick the best 50 for MSc and 30 for PhD. I remember I missed out on the 2022 application because my Proposal wasn't that much in line with the oil and gas despite graduating with a First Class. So, yeah, you might be expecting to be selected but ended up not getting a mail if there are other best applicants from your state that meet the requirements. Once those are selected, the rest aren't selected.

@Farouk_Mokwa How do they select people to invite for interview? We wrote proposals 5 pages long. How did they review all those in just ober 3 weeks?

@Wizarab10 A bitter truth. Could we say it is women nature to act in that manner or they know what they are doing? I have several experience to buttress this.

The irony of this is that, a man could open a business for a woman, bring the customers from her connects, pay the annual rents, still carry all the bills at home and she will give herself all the glory and attribute it to her hardwork. In fact, if you even credit a man for it, there will be problem. Man go hustle with empty stomach, squat with him guys, avoid women because he is broke, get his breakthrough, start making money, gets a woman and credit the woman for his success 😂😂

@theOfficial_ibk If I were you, I'll delete this tweet, and go and drink water. From a concerned brother studying in the number 1 country in Europe, that's my piece of advice for you, because the desperation is shameful at this moment. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Look at the 3 boys from Evergreen school Enugu that topped the Junior Category in South East Maths Olympiad Grand Finale. They have finished engineering maths back to back, finished lacombe back to back, also finished German maths syllabus. They fear nothing in mathematics.

@marshalwahlexyz I dont know the basis of your point but several European countries generally have higher phd stipends than the US I’m not supporting selling scholarship but the highest paid phds in the world are in Europe. Norway, Swiss, Sweden etc where phd is actually a full time job

No it shouldn't. Your MBBS degree is primarily for consumption and mastery of already existing medical knowledge. A PhD focuses on producing new knowledge. Also, your newly inducted fellows do not necessarily have the knowledge/academic prerequisites required of a professor.
Simon Thazhigilla Simon🇳🇬@Thazhigilla_

If we are being honest, the sheer trauma of an MBBS degree alone feels like a full PhD At least, a Medical Fellowship in Nigeria should automatically make you a Professor. The pathway to surviving residency here is just way too brutal! Give Nigerian Consultants their flowers🤭
