@Teignbridge That's a shame for many of us. Are we now forced onto Facebook or your rarely used Youtube account? Younger folk use TikTok, Snapchat & Instagram & you've yet to engage those audiences. Be great to see you leading the way in broadening your digital reach to a much wider audience

Perhaps unsurprisingly, @Teignbridge decided this without consultation or engagement. This apparently is their approach to err ..being more proactive on social media.—>

@shaldonangler @MartinWrigley @CllrDavidCox This feedback is exactly why we're looking at all our channels and how we use them. X is not proving effective for community engagement - levels of engagement have dropped and the channel's character count limits meaningful conversations.

A recent peer review of troubled @Teignbridge council contained the following recommendation. From 1 April Teignbridge is closing down its X account except for emergencies. I suppose that’s “a more proactive approach” in a sense. @MartinWrigley @CllrDavidCox
