HISTORIC CHANGE 🇮🇳 Bihar Bakhtiyarpur Municipal Council has passed a resolution to rename Bakhtiyarpur in Bihar to "Magadh Dwar" (Gateway to Magadh) as of May 2026. The proposal aims to remove the town’s association with Bakhtiyar Khilji, a 12th-century invader who destroyed Nalanda University!

ASI has passed order in compliance of order passed by the Hon’ble High court. Now the Hindu community has unrestricted access to Bhojshala complex.

As Prime Minister Modi is asking every citizen to contribute during this crisis situation, one of the biggest contributions people can make is by reducing unnecessary private vehicle usage and shifting towards public transport, walking, and cycling wherever possible. But for that, cities must have strong mass transit infrastructure. We have been demanding a Metro corridor on SG Highway for years now. SG Highway is one of Ahmedabad’s biggest mobility corridors, yet it still lacks proper high-capacity public transport. Without mass transit on major city nodes, people simply cannot shift away from private vehicles even if they want to. I request the @PMOIndia and Gujarat @CMOGuj to intervene and accelerate the process of developing SG Highway as a true mass transit corridor. The pace at which @MetroGMRC is moving is slower than a snail 🐌 while the city’s traffic, pollution, and urban sprawl keep growing every single day. Ahmedabad cannot become future-ready without fast, reliable, and integrated public transport.

If Amdavad does not want to get stuck in traffic jams like Bangaluru or Hyderabad, then two tracks should be built on the SG Highway (from Gandhinagar to Changodar) and from Narol to Naroda. The preparations to build more lanes on the SG Highway are nothing but an invitation to more traffic.

Ahmedabad’s current metro map shows the present. Not where the city is going. Phase 3 movement has started: Thaltej extensions , Godhavi corridor, Koteshwar–Airport link (DPR stage) The real story isn’t the map. It’s the direction. Watch these names. Godhavi, the Sanand corridor, and Tragad-Koteshwar. That’s where the city is expanding next.
