The industry largely spent the last decade and a half building vaporous garbage. Tokens that have no claims on cash flows, chains that are trivially different from each each other with no demand for their blockspace and no real moats. But they had volatility. Well, now they don't even have that claim, as stocks are ripping and a more mature market to play in. Existential crisis for alts. Quality is very few and extremely far between.
