#Vikings first-round QB JJ McCarthy underwent a full meniscus repair this morning and is out for the 2024 season, sources tell me and @TomPelissero. The repair, done by Dr. Chris Larson at Twin Cities Orthopedics, gives McCarthy the best chance at a long, successful career.

Study after study is showing life- SAVING benefits from these meds. Among obese patients with cardiovascular disease, the 4 year SELECT trial using semaglutide found 3 point MACE (major cardiovascular events across death from cardiovascular causes, non-fatal stroke and non-fatal myocardial infarction) was reduced by 20% compared to placebo, and all cause mortality was reduced by 19%. These are real people who avoided those issues over these 4 years because of their treatment on Wegovy.

Also what's the market for a guy who can play 45 games a year and maybe 75% of your playoff games? It would have to be a really good tesm but lacking in stars who will play hard to win 50+ games and then hopefully have Embiid for the playoffs.
