@alluvialred @DavidWolfe Even when chlorpyrifos was still widely available, it was by no means applied even close to weekly. More like a couple of applications per year. And mancozeb is basically useless in golf except for battling black algae on putting surfaces, so also not applied very regularly.

@DavidWolfe It’s probably Chlorpyrifos (an insecticide) and Maneb/Mancoze (fungicides) that are the most likely suspects. Those are applied weekly on golf courses and are considered neurotoxic.

So much handwork on a 1100 SQFT green. I plan to use this green to do a longterm wetting agent degradation study. Does WA longevity decline from repeated apps as microbial communities adapt? Should we be rotating WAs? Is there enough ingredient diversity for that to work?
