This will be my final reproach.🐸 I have been a proud member of the EFROGS family from the very beginning, and I have many close friends from EFROGS, FOXY, TOAD, and others. Throughout this journey, I never abandoned Linea. At times I felt frustrated, and at other times I truly enjoyed being part of it. I see myself as a genuine community member. I did everything I could and we all did. We introduced friends, brought new people into the ecosystem, and grew as a family together. I even represented EFROGS in real life at Builder Night and had the chance to speak with some of Linea’s leading figures. I admit my emotions can change quickly that’s who I am. I won’t apologize for it. I’m still young, and I make fast decisions. Sometimes that’s a strength, sometimes a weakness, but it’s part of me. Now, let me come to the point. Declan, we have always supported you and stood behind you. Of course, there were moments when we disagreed, which is natural. But many loyal community members felt left behind, while rewards went to people who openly criticized or even insulted Linea. This gave the impression that loyalty and dedication were undervalued, while short-term opportunism was encouraged. The truth is, those people will eventually disappear, while EFROGS, FOXY, TOAD, and similar communities will remain. The whales will farm and leave, but we will still be here. We will continue to join events, continue to contribute, continue to build. That is why it’s painful to feel overlooked. Some decisions also raised concerns for example, the Binance alpha situation, the last-minute liquidity event, and the perception that multi-account farmers were favored. To long-term community members, these moments felt discouraging, especially considering the years of effort and commitment they had invested. And when statements on X come across as distant or dismissive toward the community, it makes things harder. We truly thought of you as one of us, and it wouldn’t have taken much to make us feel valued. I sincerely hope that, with time, you will see how important community trust and morale are. This network was never built by one person or one company it was built together. At times, it feels like there’s a growing disconnect between the leadership and the community. Many of us fought for this project, defended it, and gave it our energy. That is why I wanted to share these thoughts with you not as criticism alone, but as a reminder of how much we care. I will continue to stay on Linea not only because of Linea itself, but because I love the communities. Declan, I’m sorry to write all this to you, because you’re not the only one who should be reading it. More precisely, I deeply believe that, to some extent, you are on our side as well. I personally do not blame you for anything. I hear all the curses directed at me just the same, but I really have no power to influence anything, other than passing these feelings and feedback further. ----------- "The BA is discretionary. This was included in the tokenomics post." ----------- No comments. Another clever trick. I understand that I am nobody compared to @Consensys army of lawyers who polished all of this to perfection. But in streams @LineaBuild didn’t emphasize this. Why? ----------- "The TGE was very intense and we didn’t anticipate issues with teams providing flagged addresses. Most projects received tokens at TGE but even for the ones who had issues, a resolution was worked on quickly and has already been distributed." ----------- Yes, I agree that TGE was a difficult time, and I would award medals to everyone who went through it. But here you are shifting the responsibility. It would have been enough to collect the wallets in advance and strictly verify compliance with your requirements BEFORE TGE, so that the distribution happened fairly and in one timing with everyone. Obviously, no one would have dumped this on the market, because that would be stupid, but a fact is a fact. If you promised allocations on TGE they should be on TGE. Consequences? Community anger, market dump, but obviously you guys don't care about that. We are not new to the market and we know that projects minimize dump risks by introducing vesting and using other tricks. But why specifically with the community? The answer is simple - because you were afraid of the farmers/sybil army, their FUD would have been an obstacle to the token’s successful launch. The voice of the community compared to the farmers/sybil army fades. More than half of the wallets were not active before TGE. Even a superficial analysis of these inactive wallets allows conclusions to be drawn. But these people shout loudly, manipulate, and use dirty tricks, right? @LineaBuild literally let russian hackers into your important blockchain methods, hackers from the sybil community. But yes, the core community is ungrateful and experiences unjustified emotions. ------------- I respectfully disagree with the rest of your comment. Back in March, no one was looking at Linea. The communities I spoke to at that time were desperate and fighting with one another. ------------- The community only became desperate at the moment of the TGE delay. Before the delay, the genuinely active communities - not the ones created just before TGE to get the airdrop - were at the peak of their strength. Throughout the period after the TGE delay, eFrogs suffered but continued to support you on all streams, events, under every tweet, in Discord, and even in various private chat groups. You say that the communities were fighting each other? I’ll tell you again, not to offend, but your understanding of the processes within the community is extremely far from reality. When there is a dominant strong project supporting the network, there are always other projects that want more attention, envy it, and engage in sabotage to diminish the significance of the dominant project and increase their chances of getting an allocation. I personally caught armies of multi-accounts, including on your forum, engaging in sabotage. Even before the TGE, a number of interested parties were publishing information drops for this purpose. ------------- In a few months we managed to pull together to launch a token, close out the LXP/L program, get big players interested in Linea again, all btw whilst sacrificing any tokens for ourselves. ------------- !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Big respect for that. Really! You guys did an enormous amount of work and literally saved the project. While you were doing that work, we stood as a shield in the community and supported you. If only you knew, Declan, how much hate I received from those farmers who came into our community and tried to use us as a battering ram or Trojan horse to Linea’s gates! Speaking about you giving up your tokens - I’m sure it’s not that simple, and the reason goes much deeper, into the very nature and structure of ConsenSys. I’m sorry that the Linea team was treated this way, and I believe that the team and you as its leader deserved a share in the distribution. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ------------- but the shallow accusations from some community members is disappointing and not constructive ------------- I agree, many people cross the line, expressing their emotions in an inappropriate way. But the truth is that something triggered these emotions in the group of people most loyal to you. You are overlooking this. Many of the people writing are not members of the community, or no longer are. ---------------------------------------------------- I’ll ask my questions again: - When will the community finally be able to receive full information about the distribution, without any evasions, tricks, or loopholes? Officially. - 1% not fully used - why? - Future of real communities on Linea - what is the plan? @LineaBuild talked a lot about 85% going to the community. But guys, we’re not new to crypto - farmers, Binance alpha bots, LXP-L whales (the top 100 wallets control the overwhelming majority of tokens) are not really the community. You can tell these stories to investors and the board, but not to us. What kind of future and ecosystem growth can we talk about if you cannot distribute fractions of a percent without evasions and tricks? It’s obvious, not just to me, that the majority of these funds will sooner or later end up in the wallets of consortium representatives and institutional players.

Unfortunately, I dont have more information. I did addy test yesterday and I guess the dev airdrop will happen soon. Regarding the 1%, I suggest Linea to communicate how much has been distributed, and to which projects + explain the strategy and vision with community moving forward. Lots of potential but there is clearly a lack of information, I hope that improves 🔜

Well, just holding Linea will open up further rewards opportunities, mostly in other tokens; some from Consensys and some from protocols that we are aligned with. MetaMask and Linea are cooking somETHing together to make this happen. Together we are all bootstrapping the Linea Token Economy. Holding LINEA tokens signals that you are a Linea community member and are likely engaged in productive Linea Economy activities: building, liquidity provision / staking, using, collecting, .... So if we notice, at some date in the future that you've held n LINEA tokens for m days, that just might lead to another token landing in your account. And if n and m are larger numbers your account might receive a larger reward. Rinse, repeat.

From the $LINEA token transactions, it looks like @ManifoldTrading and @GSR_io might be involved in market making for Linea at TGE. Anyone familiar with them? Are they top tier in this game?

This morning we were alerted to an issue at with the sequencer after a large bundle was submitted via eth_sendBundle, causing a temporary halt. The issue was mitigated quickly and system is back fully functional. We've removed access to eth_sendBundle for third-parties until we can conduct a full analysis. This removes any community-driven solutions for compromised wallets looking to claim today for TGE, but does ensure the TGE goes ahead as planned. The claim window is 90 days and will share follow up comms on next steps. BIG DAY
