@sportsXcats @NationMffl @espn_macmahon Dionne Calhoun was there 21 years. Great guy. Hired by Casey Smith. They’re good friends. Keith Belton was new but also very good guy. You don’t know what you’re talking about.

@nickij64 @ryansolsten Not accurate. Emergent procedures are done without pre-authorization, but you run the risk of insurer refusing payment if not pre-approved

Typically that’s not how it works. They do the surgery regardless and worry about the insurance company after. Plenty of people in my family have been through multiple surgeries. Not once did they worry about getting the insurance company’s approval beforehand. I would question why your doctor would do that. Not to mention that it is handled by the business office in the hospital. They don’t get the surgeon involved. 🙄

Right now, I’m sitting in a hospital room with my dad, who had open heart surgery yesterday to repair a valve. His doctor walked in and said his insurance company tried to deny his care yesterday, she told them it was too late, he was already in surgery. 🧵1/12

Once you start seeing videos of 20 year old kids begging for their lives before drones that are about to blow them up, this is a good time to pause as a human. Did we really just see that and pretend that it was no big deal? As a society we basically went from “robots shouldn’t kill” just a few years ago to swiping left at kids regularly getting blown up in drone footage, by robots. It’s happening now. And yes, some of the night “vampire bomber” drones in Ukraine that destroy tanks are fully autonomous already. I don’t think most of us are fully aware of what we are getting involved with here. I wasn’t fully aware until I saw that kid begging for his life. Now imagine this isn’t an FPV drone with a human operator that can decide whether or not to pull the trigger, but an automated drone that doesn’t give a shit about your begging and praying. And there are tens of thousands of them in a swarm killing everyone in a city with extreme precision, and we don’t know who is controlling them. Ask yourself again, do we want this as a species? After the Ukraine war is over, Ukraine will export their drones and drone expertise to other countries. A lucrative new industry will flourish. Nearly every country on earth will have millions of drones ready to be launched with launch codes, like nukes, to pre-programmed hard targets and even specific human populations. And leaders will be more likely to launch drones than nukes. These will eventually be the most effective killing machines on earth, second only to nukes. But unlike nuclear weapons, automated killing drones will actually be used to kill hundreds of millions of people (or more) in this century. AI powered drone swarms are effectively high precision nukes at scale but without the disastrous environmental impact of nuclear fallout. And they are relatively cheap and easy to manufacture by ONE PERSON. Elon is right, all future wars will be drone wars. There’s nothing that will stop this.

@EZebroni Tesla service has continued to decline. Part of the reason I didn’t follow through on my early Cybertruck reservation. Had some pretty disappointing experiences being an early Model S Plaid owner and an early Model X LR refresh owner. #Tesla #TSLA

We dropped off our $100k Cybertruck last night ahead of its service appointment this morning to repair the broken tonneau cover. I messaged the Tesla service team at 8:09AM, just minutes after the appointment started, to inform them that the Cybertruck was in the lot. No response. I checked back in a few hours later (~1PM) to ask about the status because the truck was not in “service mode” and hadn’t moved from where we dropped it off. No response. I messaged again around 3PM, 7 hours after the appointment “started”, and still didn’t receive a response. Remember when Elon said that he was “putting a lot of time personally into advancing Tesla service to make it awesome”

@flaviar_com I was gifted a subscription to this service. I appreciate a good cocktail, but do not consider myself a whiskey connoisseur. To activate the gift subscription, I had to register a credit card. I got an immediate charge for $190 and spent a couple of days getting that refunded. Got off on the wrong foot. I never really used it. They sent some tasting bottles. Six months later they charge my card for $100 for a subscription renewal. Can’t get anybody on the phone. Canceled the subscription again. This is a bullshit deal. Buyer beware. #flaviar

@Delta currently sitting on the tarmac for my flight out of DFW (1515) that was supposed to leave almost 6 hours ago. Have been sitting on the plane for about 3 ½ hours no food or drink minimal ac, but most of all minimal communication that has all been false/misleading. Worst travel experience I’ve had in a long long time. You can’t control the weather, but this has set the standard for poor communication. Now we’re going back to the gate. Took the early flight, because I really need to be at the Mavs game tonight.

Unfortunately, that is not what drives a good customer experience. I was hugely loyal to Tesla before I was an investor because of their customer service. The bigger they have gotten, the worse the customer service experience has been. I had my brand new model S plaid bricked by a service tech after a software issue, damaged by the tow truck driver, and held by Tesla for over two months while they waited for a scratched bumper to be replaced. The car was totally drivable, but they stated that I had to leave the car with them while they waited for the part. Not able to bring the car in to have the scratches fixed when the replacement bumper arrived. I didn’t find this out till later. I think if I had known at the time, I would no longer be a Tesla customer. A few months later, I bought my wife a new model X long range which was also one of the first refresh model X’s in Texas. She had a low-speed collision, rear-ended a car. Her car was totally functional and drivable, except for the frunk. Same thing. They kept her car for three months while they waited for parts because it was a brand new vehicle. What a shitty way to treat loyal customers. Not to mention, despite paying for auto pilot and FSD multiple times, Tesla ironically does not offer any value for it if you go to trade your car in. This is part of the reason I did not follow through on my cybertruck purchase. Tired of being taken advantage of. I had a similar experience with solar roof. My original quote for a solar roof was half of what it ultimately cost. I ultimately went with a third-party installer because I could never get anybody on the phone. My Tesla representative changed every month it seemed, and whenever I called I got voicemail, which was not set up. On top of that, my solar roof has very much underperformed. Tesla and the 3rd party installer have been pretty useless. Ultimately, I was able to get inverters replaced, and it has improved the performance. The ROI is still not there, however. This is Tesla’s and Elon’s Achilles heel. He is an absolute genius and disruptive innovator, but follow through and customer service are important. Do I think I should expect good customer service on a $250k solar roof project? Yes I do. This leads me to the Pay package. I agree that a deal is a deal. That being said, my understanding was that it was a 10 year deal. Despite achieving all of those milestones, we have fallen back below several. Not to mention, the options he received enabled him to sell $TSLA shares, kill the stock price, and purchase Twitter. By receiving $55 billion after four years, that is $13.75 billion per year, $1.145 billion per month $37.7 million per day $1.57 million per hour $26k per minute and $436/ sec This is in addition to the gains he received from his existing shares. This is for every second minute and hour of every day for four years. A deal is a deal, but a 10 year deal. He wants 25% ownership? Then don’t sell and buy Twitter. Keep running SpaceX, boring company, #Neuralink, even X, but be mindful that Tesla is a public company and has enabled his pursuits of these other lofty goals. I’m still a shareholder, but the focus in this decision should be what’s best for Tesla, not what’s best for Elon. I think he should get the$55 billion… but be locked in for 10 years. He only achieved it after four because of the unprecedented money printing that occurred during the pandemic. I get the bull argument, I don’t support Ross Gerber et al, and I have at times been dismissive of Gary’s comments, but Elon’s decisions have generated tremendous unnecessary value destruction.

Thoughts from a long-term investor… Gary, I am a long-term investor in Tesla. I have been driving one since 2015. Bought my first shares in 2018. I went “all in” in 2019 when the stock got hammered. I did fantastically well when the stock ran up. I have not always agreed with you, but have always appreciated your analysis. Please continue. I have always tried to remain objective. Admittedly, I have at times been too blindly supportive of Tesla and their mission. I follow most of the Tesla bulls here on X. The interesting thing to me at times is how many of these Tesla bulls may own some stock, but don’t actually drive the car or own the products. I have been driving a model S since 2015. Currently have one of the first model S plaid. My wife drives a model X long range. We have 4 power walls and a solar roof. We have Tesla insurance, which isn’t that great of a deal. We have Tesla electric which also has its shortcomings. I have been a beta tester for FSD for over two years. I paid for auto pilot on my 2015 P 85D, paid for FSD on my model S performance and my model S plaid. I was also one of the first to order the cyber truck. I live in Texas and enjoy the outdoors. I could have gotten my cyber truck in March but decided not to follow through with the last minute. My frustration with #Tesla and with @ElonMusk is that Tesla seems to take advantage of their most loyal supporters. Elon is great at pushing innovation and running 100,000+ employee company like a start up…

I sense that many of us long-term $TSLA bulls are posting less on Twitter. IMHO TSLA Twitter has become more toxic - i.e. if I post something negative I get personally maligned that I am hoping TSLA’s stock price will go down. Since I am long $TSLA stock, nothing could be further from the truth. The argument that I want the stock to go lower so I can buy it cheaper makes absolutely no sense. Stock prices are driven by fundamentals - not what I or anyone else says on Twitter. By making it personal and implying negative intent without supporting facts or analysis is not the way discussion forums are supposed to work. As with any stock there are positives and negatives, and bulls should welcome any information positive or negative that leads to better investment decisions.

Not surprising to me. I am a long-term investor and have had autopilot or FSD on three different model S since 2015. Unfortunately, it is overpriced at $12,000 and it has been extremely overhyped by Elon musk which is why the take rate is so low. I have a cybertruck order that the estimated delivery date was end of March. Have not gotten a VIN yet. I may still cancel it because I can’t help but feel a little bit taken advantage of. I understand Tesla wanting to capitalize on the cybertruck release, but they are effectively taking advantage of their most loyal customers who have waited five years to get their vehicle. I had a 2019 model S performance that I was going to trade in, but sold privately when I got my model S plaid. I did not get any significant value from Tesla for FSD on that vehicle and couldn’t transfer it so I sold it privately. I have been a FSD beta tester for a couple of years at this point. I still don’t have version 12. Not sure why. The nudges on version 11 are extremely annoying. If it wasn’t for the nudges, it would be very pleasant to use on the highway. Still suspect for a lot of city driving. Ironically, I turn off FSD if I need to check my phone while driving because the nudges are so annoying. Defeats the purpose

It’s unbelievable to me that you can buy $TSLA shares at $172 today, especially with all of the positive news about FSD v12.3. Tesla is close to solving the problem of replacing 420 billion (yes, billion) hours of human driving time annually. 1.4 billion human drivers each driving 300 hours annually. Even if a small fraction of these drivers use FSD, the financial impact is massive. Elon wasn’t joking when he said “The day FSD goes to wide release will be one of the biggest asset value increases in history”. Nobody has ever created a product that frees up this much human time. What people choose to do with their new time while inside their vehicles is another question (I’ll be using X).

Buyer beware. We have had a Tesla solar roof installed by @GoodFaithEnergy for two years. It has not been a good experience. The system has vastly under performed their projections. We have a larger system than @MKBHD (>34kW) and 4 power walls. Not to mention we live in Dallas Texas. Also, the roof leaks. They have not followed through on other finish out items they agreed to. Very poor communication through the process. Unfortunately,@teslaenergy tech support has been less helpful. @elonmusk and #Tesla need to focus a little bit more on follow through and Customer Service with their products. Ironically, I am a longtime Tesla bull and investor since 2018. We have owned two previous model S vehicles since 2015 and currently have a model S plaid and model X long range.

Absolute fucking bullshit @aelluswamy Wait 3+ months for any FSD update Get a 5th strike on the highway for you know, paying attention to the fucking road and not the screen asking to nag the fucking steering wheel for the 10th time in the last 2 minutes

Just finished filming a cool vid. I paid a commenter on YouTube to fly to my house in St George Utah to prove he can hit 100 shots out of 100 at ranges up to 600 yards in realistic hunting conditions. He’s a former marine. I said it was impossible. How many do you think he hit?
