@CoachRyanHunter @lettman2 You got his 'character' figured out watching him play in 1 game? Really? Did you calculate in outside factors like an injury, girl friend issues, family life, dog died, jealousy issues in dugout, ..trying to please some random guy in the stands who is judging him him?

I watched the entire game. I judge every at-bat. We get a very limited sample size to evaluate players. It changed my perspective of the visit. The kid is a great talent, there’s no question about that. Character needs development, as do many 17-18 year olds. Doesn’t mean he won’t get an opportunity to play at the next level.

At a HS game to see a specific player. He just got K’d on 3 pitches, and his attitude towards the umpire, his coach, and his teammates just changed my perspective of this trip.
