@ArynneWexler Things have been horribly out of balance since Charlie died. I never realized how big of an influence Charlie had. Now add Jordan on top of that. All we have now is a bunch of childish wannabe's fighting like school girls for clicks. They will do and say anything to get them.

I miss Jordan Peterson’s thought leadership He inspired men to have discipline, be hopeful, and stand tall the world Bottom dwellers like Tucker encourage their followers to be perpetually sad, angry victims curled up weak in their basements Things are so out of balance

@SarahLongwell25 This has a direct tie to the Tucker and Megyn craziness. I have no issue with JD, but Tucker and Megyn seem to be really invested in getting him elected.

We just finished a focus group of Trump voters in Louisiana and nearly the whole group preferred Rubio to JD Vance. I’ve been watching this phenomenon build for a while. We’ll discuss more on the next focus group pod. theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/04/…

@MarkDavis I think the new trend is they all just blame it on the Jews. That seems to have bipartisan support these days.

With everyone safe, the evening now shifts to the waves of corresponding sentiments: — Liberals hoping it’s not someone from their side gunning for Trump; and — Conservatives hoping it’s not somewhat from their side gunning for the media.

@BigJoeBastardi Everyone wants cuts until it impacts their business/area of expertise/passion. I get it. As an agriculture producer that lives and dies by the weather, NWS forecasting has been near worthless for a long time for us. They do serve an important role for severe weather safety though

BTW there are alot of DOGE cuts in weather I disagree with and vehemently. But no one asked me and I have said several times they used a blunt hammer in their cuts. But using the lack of balloons here when the PATTERN TOLD YOU this could happen is not one of them. This set up was seen over a week out as is the whole series of storms that is coming. People should know to be vigilent. I started a week out with a MODERATE risk area for yesterday. Doge cuts did not impact that. Interestingly enough it was based on methods learned 50 years ago

@NEWSMAX All the problems in this world and this is the platform you choose? Shows how incredibly stupid the American public is. Let's be honest, birth control is not hard to obtain. You can schedule an online consultation for $30 or less to get it. Stop making easy stuff sound hard.

I just introduced bipartisan legislation to regulate hemp products and protect consumers. Washington has let this industry operate in a gray zone for too long. Americans deserve clarity about what they're buying. This is commonsense policy that crosses party lines. washingtonexaminer.com/news/4536761/r…

@MarkDavis The second the Pope purposefully enters the political realm, which he clearly has, he is fair game for political attacks. Catholics please stop pretending that the Pope is not a political position. The position has been political since nearly it's beginnings with few exceptions

Weak logic. Definition of political damage: does it make supporters turn away from you? In this case, short-term answer is not much, the long-term, hardly at all. And it is possible to maintain a certain admiration for the Pope while finding fault with his leftist pacifism.
Mark Halperin@MarkHalperin

I'm here to tell you, folks, that if Donald Trump attacks the Pope, he is dead -- dead, I tell you -- politically. I mean, who could attack a popular Pope and get away with it.....? politico.com/story/2016/02/…

@FoxNews This is where the conflict is heading right? Eventually they are going to fire on our ships. After that we unleash hell and end this thing. There has never been a single negotiation in my lifetime they have honored. This "negotiation" is just to expose Iran's true intentions.

@MarkDavis The really bad part is that the most intense "hand wringing" aka flat out lies came from people that once supported the President. The bulk of the formerly right leaning podcast world was telling the world we were hours away from the US dropping nuclear bombs on Iran.

@ChrisCillizza @MickMulvaney It wouldn't solve a problem. It would guarantee that you get a Democratic Senator from Texas. There are lots of folks like myself who absolutely will not vote for Cornyn again. We know the consequence of that decision is a Democratic Senator from Texas, and we accept that.

Every senator will soon be on the record with an up-or-down vote so the American people can know exactly where they stand on voter ID. I don’t know how Democrats will be able to explain being against commonsense voter ID requirements, but I can’t wait to hear them try.

@RepFine @realDonaldTrump Tucker takes partial truths, ties them with ancient definitions from a pre WWI websters dictionary, then he draws on some backwards circular reasoning to come up with the most ignorant ideas any human could fabricate. That's called insanity, and lots of you are propagating it.

@wlarose1977 @MattMorseTV @tedcruz Voluntary withdrawal of the dollar as the standard world currency is beyond stupid. It's stupid because if it happens, we are literally done as a country. Our entire system will collapse. That's the sad reality, and it has nothing to do with Israel. Two different conversations

@MattMorseTV Voluntarily withdrawing the dollar as the standard currency of the world might be the dumbest idea I have ever heard. May our had get forced at some point? Maybe, and if that happens it will be because of weak leadership in America. No matter, if/when it happens the US is done.

@EndWokeness This is not a suggestion, it is a fact that the United States no longer dictates the terms, there is already an adult named China who can sit down to negotiate at the same height and although I like the Chinese economic model more, our Western culture is much better.

🚨 BREAKING: Senate Leader John Thune just ADMITTED that the Democrats may nuke the filibuster when they re-take power! But he doesn't have the votes to do it with a 53-seat Republican majority. We SHOULD NUKE IT! We are basically just going to be SITTING DUCKS waiting for Democrats to do it THUNE: "I don't disagree that there is a possibility. If the Democrats ever get the House, the Senate, and the White House, get unified control of the government, they might try to do that." "We don't know the answer to that. It's hypothetical. But what I will tell you is there are not the votes to nuke the filibuster in the United States Senate today." "It has protected Republicans through the years, conservative principles and priorities, by requiring a supermajority to get things done in the United States Senate. That's the way the founders designed it."
