It is very easy to run into debt in tech. I tested a new Gemini API key with a simple function and forgot about it. Later, I discovered TypeScript watch mode had been rerunning it on every auto-save and completely exhausted the free quota. Imagine if that API key was linked to a paid account 💀

The sad reality about Edtech in Nigeria is that nobody cares about improving the quality of education delivered. Schools will rather use no tool or use free tools, teachers want to do what they are already use to, even organizations and bootcamps are okay with Google Meets 😂

@_devHelen Yes. Its one of the best times. Learning is much more faster given various tools (AI) Focus is no longer lies in writing lines of code, but in knowing what to build, understanding system trade-offs, and validating AI-generated outputs for errors or biases Code is bare minimum
