Donkey Kong Bananza is a bigger risk for Nintendo than many give it credit for. Yes, it's a 3D Platformer made by maybe the greatest team to make games in that genre, but it's Donkey Kong on the cover, not Mario. Nobody knows what the sales ceiling for 3D Donkey Kong is in 2025. BUT I think this is a good risk because EPD Production Group No. 8 should have the chance to be creative with a new character and different gameplay. It's not like there will never be a new 3D Mario Platformer ever again.

@vintagepuro I think the fact that it's not a pristine copy of the show like a WWF or WCW vhs almost kind of gives it this "You're not really supposed to watch this" forbidden feeling to it almost like you watching a secret tape

#Avowed’s day night cycle is so good. The Living Lands light up at night with bioluminescence and it’s such a sight to behold!! This is definitely the most beautiful game the #Xbox Series X/S has produced this generation!!
