People are jumping through endless loopholes to dodge inauthentic content.. At that point, you might as well do things properly and go branded 😭 My partners, students, and I still got 0 demonetizations or terminations to this day. There’s levels to it. Play the right game.

@TeamYouTube My channel has been wrongfully demonetized, due to your automated AI systems. I escalated the issue via email, and what I got is 9 days of ignoring from your support team which promised to get back to me. What is going on? I want to get fair treatment as a creator.

My YouTube channel cursedalot just got demonetized for "inauthentic content" but all my videos are original and edited by ME personally. I submitted a video appeal, but it got auto-rejected without even being watched @TeamYouTube @YouTube can we fix this ASAP? Let a real human review my channel just once. @cursedalot" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">youtube.com/@cursedalot

@asinixdev @DriftyNight1 @TeamYouTube - All my titles are different - I do Shorts so the thumbnail is a frame of the video. Each video is different, meaning each thumbnail is different

Hey @TeamYouTube My channel got falsely demonetized for inauthentic content, stating that my content is repetitive/mass produced, which is false. I appealed and got nothing more than an automated response with examples that do not apply to me. Please help me with a manual review.

@DriftyNight1 @TeamYouTube No, what YouTube is saying is that they do not care enough to do a manual review. The only thing inauthentic and repetitive is their response when it comes to this issue.

@th1js__ @TeamYouTube What YouTube is saying is to look closely at all your videos for any way possible that shows you broke a policy, for your case Inauthentic, look for anything repeated. Thumbnails, title styles(basically how the title is said, too many caps in all titles can even be the case)

@TeamYouTube So what you are saying is that I should keep uploading so that you can keep profiting off my content while I don’t make a single penny? And how am I supposed to make changes if I don’t even get an explanation stating which of my videos violated your policy?

This is ridiculous. I'm going to move heaven and earth to fix this. @TeamYouTube wrongly demonetized my channel Jortx on April 17 for "Inauthentic Content." This is CLEARLY AN ERROR and it puts my entire business at risk. - The channel has 5 VIDEOS in 4 months. - Each takes 3+ weeks to produce. - 10-20 day gaps between uploads. This is literally the OPPOSITE of mass-produced. Clearly collateral damage from an automated AI ban wave. Please, just LOOK at my history: • 3+ years on YouTube • Multiple channels, 500K+ subscribers combined • Millions of views, HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of dollars generated for YouTube • NOT A SINGLE STRIKE. Ever. • 10+ people depending on this work full-time A single qualified human looking at this account for 30 seconds would immediately see this is a mistake. Instead, all my channels are now at risk because of one false accusation from an algorithm. What I've done: • Public tweet to @TeamYouTube yesterday → replied with a generic automated message that doesn't even address my case • DMs on X → no reply • Formal legal appeal to yt-partner-support@google.com today citing EU Digital Services Act (Articles 14, 15, 17, 20) The response? An automated email sent back 1 SECOND later. Screenshot below ⬇️ AI banning. AI responding. Zero humans. This is exactly what Article 20 DSA exists to prevent. As a European creator, if my case is not properly reviewed by a qualified human, I will escalate under the EU Digital Services Act (Articles 17 & 20) to the Spanish Digital Services Coordinator and the European Commission. @YouTube , this is not optional. It's binding EU law. This goes against common sense AND the law. We need to cut this out at the root, before no one is safe. Please RT and tag @TeamYouTube to the death. Please. Tomorrow it could be YOUR channel. We need a real human to look at this. @Jortx-HQ" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">youtube.com/@Jortx-HQ

Update: YouTube has now changed the reason for demonetizing Tricked Entertain from "inauthentic content" to "reused content." This makes even less sense. Here's exactly how every video is made: Scripts written from scratch by me. Our main character was designed and built by one of our own animators with our own logo on it Videos hand-animated in 3D Blender by our animators nothing AI-generated, nothing automated Editing handled by a dedicated editor who builds every clip and sound design by hand 6 full-time people working on one channel How is that reused content? @TeamYouTube the appeals process rejected us within hours. Twice. We understand YouTube is trying to filter out AI slop. But in the process, you're taking down original creators who have poured everything into building something real on your platform only to get wiped out overnight with no real recourse. Six people are on the verge of losing their jobs because of this. Give us the human review that creators on this platform actually deserve.

And now I got demonetized... YouTube just demonetized my channel Tricked Entertain for "inauthentic content" and I genuinely don't understand how that's possible. Every single video on this channel is 100% MANUALLY animated in Blender. Our team puts days into each video. This is not AI-generated. This is not spam. We've grown to 150,000 subscribers and 200 million views by making content that people genuinely love and now our revenue has been seized without warning. I submitted a detailed appeal explaining our full production process. It was rejected within hours. @TeamYouTube I'm asking you to take a real look at this. Not an automated review. A human one. Creators deserve better than this.

I can't believe it, @TeamYouTube has DENIED my demonetization appeal. I literally have a 100 animation channel MANUALLY animated in Blender. I made a thorough 5 minute appeal explaining my process and now they are going to seize my month of revenue for "inauthentic content"

@TeamYouTube My monetization appeal was denied for “deleted/modified content,” but I never deleted or changed any videos. I only kept uploading after the reused content notice. Support says I deleted videos but can’t provide proof. Please review my case 🙏

Dear YouTube, Over the past weeks, hundreds (if not thousands) of creators have been demonetized under the vague label of “inauthentic content.” No clear warnings. No specific violations. No timestamps. No examples. Often no human review. And in many cases, no real right to appeal. Entire channels - sometimes entire businesses - are effectively shut down overnight. What’s most concerning is that YouTube’s own monetization policy explicitly allows content that follows a consistent format, as long as the substance of each video is different. Same intro and outro? Allowed. Similar structure? Allowed. Series-based content where each video focuses on a different subject, story, or angle? Allowed. This is exactly what Reddit-style storytelling is. Each video features: – a different story – a different conflict – different characters – different outcomes – different emotional arcs Same format does not mean same content. Many creators affected are producing: 100% original scripts Original narration or commentary Manual editing Clear creative input No reuploads No scraped videos No mindless automation Yet they are still flagged as “inauthentic,” without being told what makes their content allegedly invalid. That’s not enforcement. That’s opacity. Creators are being punished despite following the written rules, while being told that all their channels may be removed or demonetized - a threat that goes far beyond a single review decision. When policies say one thing, but enforcement does another, creators are left operating in fear rather than clarity. Platforms thrive on trust. Creators invest time, money, and years of work based on published rules. If those rules can be ignored without explanation, transparency isn’t just missing - it’s broken. We’re not asking for special treatment. We’re asking for consistency, clarity, and real communication. @TeamYouTube @YouTube @YouTubeCreators Transparency matters.

Don’t blame the algo for your channel not going viral. If you can’t outdo your competitors video quality… Post videos in a niche where there is high demand and low supply. Good stats mean nothing if you’re competing with 100 other creators posting similar content.
