The Force was with us today @UTSW_RadOnc! We treated our first HANSOLO patient using Ethos: Head And Neck radiotherapy with Simulation Omitted and setup and pLanning Online. Patient needed emergent radiotherapy to control bleeding but may receive definitive treatment later, so we needed to deliver a short-course of IMRT quickly. @MHLinPhD generated a treatment plan based on diagnostic imaging, with the mask made in the treatment room after aligning to a reference surface generated from the diagnostic CT. The typical online ART workflow then proceeded as usual. The entire process took approximately 35 minutes, and he was in/out of the department in less than one hour. Tremendous kudos to our incredible physics and therapy teams who made it seamless!
