PRACTICE CHANGING trial of hypoxia directed major radiation de-escalation as definitive treatment for HPV+OPC by @imrtlee @MSK_RadOnc @MSKCancerCenter, showing that 30Gy+Chemo is sufficient for cure, with > 500 pts treated so far.
🗣️Why should everyone be treated to 70Gy with large elective dose/volume ⁉️ Radiation does not have to be toxic in many selected patients based on hypoxia status.
