@africatodayMG 🇪🇹 Ethiopia went from under $600M in gold exports pre-2018 to 3.5 billion today. With the Kurmuk Gold Project alone set to add next year 240K-270K oz/year ($1B revenue), Same country. Different direction.

@africatodayMG It's disappointing to see negativity from our South African brothers regarding Ethiopia's progress. Africa rises faster when we exchange ideas, not insults. Even your leadership has witnessed Addis Ababa's transformation, let's learn from each other.

Ethiopia 🇪🇹 overtook South Africa 🇿🇦
Ethiopia allocated $4.8 billion for infrastructure development in 2025 and $1.8 billion of that has been spent on purchase of construction equipment alone. Ethiopia targets gradual takeover of her infrastructure development.
Ethiopia has now overtaken South Africa that spent $1.75 billion in 2024 in construction machinery. Transformation comes at a cost.

@africatodayMG Infrastructure, factories, real estates, roads - Ethiopia is building everywhere. so naturally, machinery imports are at an all-time high to meet demand.

Ethiopia🇪🇹 has won two major international arbitration cases, defeating claims totaling more than $850 million.
The disputes involved a Turkish construction firm and a Netherlands-based leasing company.
Tribunals ruled in favour of Ethiopia’s right to enforce environmental and regulatory protections.
The government says the outcome strengthens its global legal standing and investment governance.

This is Kumasi. Ghana second largest city.
There are 15 cities or more in Nigeria better than Kumasi.
Kenya has no other proper city outside Nairobi. Port harcourt is more developed and economically viable than Mombasa.
SIKA KYE😈@sikakye_1
Lmfao. Kumasi this🤭. Ghana is far behind.

@Amanofc62699192 @onyedikanambra They transformed the city into a world-class tourist destination in such a short time-even Google hasn't caught up yet 😂 Proud of our leadership in Harar and across the country. 🇪🇹👏🏼

🇪🇹 Did you know that, aside from LED screens and CCTV systems, nearly 90% of the materials used from street lights & cables etc.. are locally sourced? These projects are powering local manufacturing, creating jobs, and enabling technology transfer. Harar City is a great example.

This is the SIXTEENTH largest city in Ethiopia. That's right. Not even among the top 15. This took months to do. Not years. No future talk. No tumetenga, no tumeweka, no tumepanga, no ndani ya miezi sita. And most certainly no Mbwekse!! Mbweksee!!! Just got it done and didn't even bother to call news boys to talk about it. Is there any place in Nairobi that looks like this?
