It is reported that approximately eight armed suspects stormed into a jewellery shop at Highveld Mall, Witbank, and held the security guard and employee at gunpoint before robbing them of an undisclosed amount of jewellery. The suspects were intercepted shortly after fleeing the mall in different getaway vehicles. Three suspects were fatally shot, while others fled the scene and are still at large.
