fair question. i checked back and found a small bit of evidence that it was following the rule. i added it after a moment where i asked for an honest opinion and got a useful tradeoff instead of blind agreement, so i wanted that behavior as a standing instruction. after adding it, i noticed it using wording like “honest answer” and “my honest take” while still telling me where it agreed and where it thought i was missing something. for example, when i asked whether syncing could be tested yet, it said, “So the honest answer is: yes, partially testable now...” and explained what could and couldn’t actually be tested at that point. another time, i questioned why a PR had grown to around 194 changed lines when the actual fix was basically a one-line change. it agreed that the core fix was tiny, but still pushed back that the added checks and tests weren’t just bloat: “My honest take: the PR is a little bigger than the underlying bug, but not slop.” it just felt like it was responding the way i wanted, so there wasn’t a big or obvious difference for me to catch beyond moments like these.

@tharuxpert does this work in terms of actually being 'honest' and do you see it pushing back just to push back when it shouldn't? hows your experience with this

@chrisgpt After a few minutes of staring at this screen, and since it didnt work after the codex app update, I just fully quit and reopened the DESKTOP APP and it worked!
