@engr_imm Tell them about the dude that did this for 20 years and than died

My coworker makes $92,000 a year and still brings lunch from home every single day.
For two years, people in the office made fun of him.
“Bro, you make good money. Live a little.”
Meanwhile, they were ordering DoorDash every afternoon, financing new cars, upgrading their iPhones, and taking weekend trips they couldn’t really afford.
He never argued.
He drove the same 2012 Honda Accord.
Wore regular clothes.
Used coupons at the grocery store.
And every Friday, a huge portion of his paycheck disappeared into savings and investments.
Then our company announced layoffs.
Half the department was gone by Monday…

@MobofJoggers @KayBee624 Better to hit the person than hit something head on that’s coming directly at you head. All the time
English

@KayBee624 What do you mean is bad? Yeah I'm not sure what would happen if it were a person

The Toronto Police are getting mocked for good reason.
It’s getting absolutely retarded.
End Wokeness@EndWokeness
This is not a right-wing parody video Toronto Police actually posted this

Calgary Stampede.
The biggest, most iconic Canadian rodeo on earth. Cowboys, bucking bulls, chuckwagons, country music, Western heritage for over 100 years.
Now? Raf-Saperra on stage doing Punjabi hip-hop fusion while the crowd throws up the "oh oh oh oh" like it's a Desi concert.
"This is a Canadian rodeo??"
Exactly 🤦🏻♂️
The woman in this video is asking the question a lot of us are thinking.
Traditional events that defined this country are getting completely transformed.
You used to go to the Stampede for rodeo and country. Now it's whatever the biggest "diverse" act of the moment is.
This is what years of mass immigration + "celebrate everything except the founding culture" gets you.
Canada isn't being preserved. It's being replaced piece by piece even at the Stampede.
R.I.P. the old Canada 🇨🇦
English

@JayGenXer Transformation is okay. New traditions are constantly being added to Canadian culture. Because canada is a young country with an evolving demographic mix. But thats okay. It makes us strong. Canada is winning.
English

@zosMaman @CheriDiNovo You liberals are truly delusional. There are many people including me who travel over monthly to load up on bourbon and California wine.
Fucking retarted
English

@CheriDiNovo Even if US alcohol were on our shelves, I don’t think most Canadians would be buying it at this point
English

@MarcNixon24 It’s all fake bullshit. No way is it 60 percent approval

The $2,000 LAB Uncrustables putter has caused quite the social media outcry.
Guys, that was the point.
Sure they will sell some. They are Louis Vuitton purses. It’s just peacocking.
But for LAB, it’s free marketing. Millions of dollars worth of free advertising for their brand.
Traditionalists were never going to buy a LAB, so they don’t care about offending them. They want the masses.

@burr3276 @PsudoMike Maybe the boost in the economy we need. Remember we are in a recession. Carney is all talk, no one is investing here besides data centres.
English

@thatguytejay @PsudoMike For? What's the purpose? What need are they replacing?
English

Meta broke ground on its first Canadian data centre. $13 billion, Sturgeon County, Alberta. Biggest one they have built outside the US.
3,000 people to build it. Only 300 jobs once it is running.
That ratio is the real story. Massive capital, thin headcount. Alberta collects about $250 million a year in taxes and royalties for it. This is starting to look less like a factory opening and more like a pipeline deal.
English

@mattvanswol I don't understand the flock outrage. There's no right to privacy when you're in public. Zero. It's the reason the news can put a camera in your face and ask questions if you're walking down the street. The people tearing them down are also participating in teen takeovers 🤷♂️
English

🚨#BREAKING: Officials in Houston TX are PANICKING after TWO MORE Flock cameras were chopped down yesterday.
This makes 4 Flock cams destroyed in 3 days.
Allegedly, the public is sending hundreds of tips saying things like, "the cameras are succumbing to heat exhaustion..."
English

@Somful1 @PsudoMike Closed loop system here retard. Do your research before projecting
English

@PsudoMike Not to mention the poisoning of the water. This could be very dangerous for the residents of Sturgeon County.
English

@PsudoMike Meh. Ontario is on the way to 100 of these abominations.
English

@PsudoMike The headcount is negligible. The $250m is negligible. The “up to” 6% reduction in electricity costs is negligible. I worry this could blow up in our faces with higher electricity costs, high water costs, environmental impact with next to zero economic activity gains
English

@Myself9752465 Every time I see one of these, I give it the finger when I drive by, a lady was on her driveway, thought I was supporting her.I told her to fuck off and grow the fuck up!!
English

@marlene4719 @Myself9752465 Only with you dumb boomers lmao. Everyone has hates carney. You just want him to keep homes inflated. Def not 65 percent of the country, maybe 65 perfect of voters~ which are all boomers
English

@Myself9752465 This fool is literally telling 65% of the country he doesn’t need their business
English

@NFLProBowlFan @AlanRBlair @PsudoMike Shut up liberal comi. Data centres are coming and they are GREAT
English

Meta is building a $13 billion data centre north of Edmonton. Biggest one in Canada. 3,000 jobs to build it. 300 to run it once it's live.
That ratio is the real story, not the headline number. Massive capital drops into a region, the grid gets upgraded, local suppliers get a season of work, and the permanent headcount ends up small enough to fit on one office floor.
Good for Alberta's power infrastructure long term. Not the jobs boom the announcement wants people picturing.
English

@PsudoMike Construction would be 3 years of work. Supply chain giving work to probably 5000 people for a good 3 years
