@AlanRBlair @sama There's option to use API or different provider that doesn't have those limits. Valid feedback though. I believe their concern is about people who can spend their entire weekly limits in a single day, leaving them unable to use it for the rest of the week.

5.6 sol growth is insane. the inference team has done heroic work to be able to support demand. we are going to move mountains to continue to scale, but it is possible there are some hiccups soon.

You don't think the whole Fable debacle has left a genuine sour taste in people's mouth? It's on, it's off. "more info in 24 hours" no more info comes. Comes back, but with fewer days than originally promised, and at 50% capacity. 1 week extension with only 8 hours notice - and no reset. Reset when 5.6 launches. Another 1 week extension with 9 hour notice. No reset.

All of the Anthropic hate on here feels incredibly forced

@GuilhermeAm19 @sama Cute but irrelevant. The idea is I pay for a 20x, and I want to use it all, but in certain periods of time. It's kind of like ordering a meal at a restaurant, but you're only allowed to eat 1/5th of it every hour. Kind of ridiculous user experience.

@D2KX_ @sama Definitely get that, but they have the most compute, and frankly I don't think Saturday evening is their peak times. Besides, they're global. Monday EST is different from London time, etc. In the end, I'm just advocating for a better user experience.

@AlanRBlair @sama the whole purpose for the 5 hour limit is to have some kind of forced load balancing. capacity is not enough if millions of people only ever use them at roughly the same time

Balls and strikes: We should never have started a never-ending war in Iran... that was a huge blunder by POTUS. He should have listened to his team. But now that it's done, perhaps the best strategy is for POTUS to "seize"/protect the Striaght of Hormoz in exchange for % of the cargo we protect. Of course, it's illegal and all that.. but I bet the folks impacted would take that deal!!!

There must be a better UI pattern than a list of threads, switching back and forth between them as the new message blue dot appears.
