JUST IN: 🇺🇸 US Admiral Paparo says the United States is running a Bitcoin node. "We have a node on the Bitcoin network…We're doing a number of operational tests to secure and protect networks using the Bitcoin protocol."

Canada is not a democracy. It's not even a free nation anymore. How could it be when Parliament is sidelined for eight months, allowing the executive branch to reign unchecked? Or when foreign interference is ignored and elections are gamed? Or when courts rule that the government broke the law and nothing changes? Or when the state controls your speech, your property, your energy, your news, your guns, your healthcare—and offers you assisted suicide when the wait times get too long? Canada has become something else: a managed oligarchy with democratic trappings, where the individual exists to serve the state. Look how far Canada has fallen. So much of this, every day. You really have to develop thick skin (exoskeleton?) when working on successful open source. (The Chrome extension has been removed since Google added native access in 144+, which is simpler, but yes, it does require a one-time setting change)

@steipete @Michael98222925 @JediPixels opinion on local llm with maxed out mini pro 64GB RAM and the 14/20 core option? I've been playing with a gaming PC after a couple weeks of mixed success it's working pretty good with 2 online and 2 local models. I have a mac mini pro on order 🤔

So far, testing OpenClaw on my Mac Mini M4 16MB, setting up OpenClaw with the local LLM Ollama models llama3.18b and gpt-oss:20b, it's so slow. In the chat, I ask Hello, and the LLM just thinks and nothing comes back. Only a few times after a long time, it responded. Is anyone else having the same issue? @openclaw

@MarcusGriffin @AlexFinn Models like Gwen2.5 7B can help (too small it can't act too big it gets swamped ) load one model at a time not 3, kill other RAM hogging apps etc I told the bot to optimze itself context window sizes etc all need to be optimized Grok or Claude can help tune it up
