@poperespecter1 As I said, the Human Development Index takes into account prosperity in all aspects: wealth, happiness of countries, health, security, education, among other things. That's basic.

The saints are not dead but that is no reason to believe they possess omniscience or are capable of hearing us and bringing our prayers to God’s ears (who doesn’t need them anyway).

Those who die in Christ are promised resurrection. But the Bible makes a clear distinction between being alive on earth and having passed away, even for those who are saved. There is a clear divide, and God never walked back the command against divination in the NT.
