Matt Chapman honors the great Pedro Feliz by recording a clutch RBI hit while the Giants already have a comfortable lead.

As a baseball movie I have “42” in over moneyball - just my two cents - also o have Sandlot over bull Durham but both still in top 5 - I go back n Forth on order 1-2-3 but sandlot major league & field of dreams in any order my 1-2-3 a look so hard to leave Bad Bews Bears out imo

@HopeSickRaider @ButcherBoy415 I can say that Field of Dreams is a better movie, but I’m more willing to put on For Love of the Game and rewatch it, much more than I would with Field of Dreams. Kevin Costner sure had a knack for baseball movies. 🎥 🍿

@ButcherBoy415 Is it crazy that I enjoy “For Love of The Game” more than “Feild of Dreams”….

@tnoe25612666 @The_StilesFiles So Bryce isn’t and won’t be a stud because he’s struggled initially at age 21. But Kurtz is a stud, even though he struggled when he was called up at age 23. That’s some sound logic 😵‍💫

@The_StilesFiles Kurtz is another stud drafted and developed by the A’s. Eldridge is the next Damon Minor. Studs don’t struggle when they get the call up. 4A players do. Lifelong Giants fan. We know the difference. He ain’t it.

Is there any world where Bryce Eldridge is ever on the same level as Nick Kurtz?

@BaseballJeff1 Good call. Just flipped around batting right handed. That was always a fun swing to imitate in the backyard.

I’m not saying the Giants cooked getting Josuar Gonzalez and Luis Hernandez in back-to-back international classes, but they may have.

Giants fans, look at that swing. 17 years old and crushing it stateside. What a stud.

05-13-2026; #ArizonaComplexLeague (#ACL) Dodgers@Giants (Papago) Entering the bottom of the 4th, #LuisHernandez had a single, double, and home run. In his first at-bat of the inning he hit a line drive single to left field; in his second at bat of the inning he hit a line drive to left field and was inches away from a triple and the cycle. Hopefully, he gets another at-bat in this 7 inning game. He is 5 for 5 - 2 singles, 2 doubles, and a home run. And he has a few RBI as well - 8. @MiLB @SFGiantsFans @SFGiants @SFGigantes @SFGiantsMedia @RoundTheFoghorn @SFGProspects @SleeperSFGiants @TheAthleticMLB

@GiantHotTakes I know it was the 1st inning, so saying it was game changing sounds drastic. But that was game changing. 🔥 Hoo LEE Gan

@PavlovicNBCS They do get progressively worse, but even the 3rd one gives you Walton Goggins as the cocky hotshot. What a rise his career has seen.

@NorCalSportsNW At this point I wouldn’t mind a rebuild. It wouldn’t crush me to see anyone except Webb go, out of the guys that would get traded. And at least letting young guys play would bring some excitement. They are on the cusp of a lot of young exciting players making their way up.

Is it possible the Giants are already laying the groundwork for a major rebuild? You call up Bryce Eldridge, your number one prospect and arguably the future of the franchise, and then he starts only 4 of the first 6 games he’s been on the major league roster. That feels strange for a team supposedly trying to compete right now. Meanwhile, we already saw Buster Posey pull the trigger on the Patrick Bailey trade in early May, which showed that absolutely nobody may be untouchable if the right deal comes along. So it makes you wonder... Are the Giants quietly showcasing veterans like Rafael Devers, Matt Chapman and Willy Adames for potential trades behind the scenes? Could Posey and the front office already be having conversations with other clubs while evaluating what this roster looks like moving forward? Bob Nightingale recently reported that the Giants would love to move off some of these massive contracts, including Devers, Chapman, Adames and even Jung Hoo Lee. If that’s true, then maybe the direction of this organization is becoming clearer than people want to admit. Maybe sitting Bryce twice already isn’t just about matchups or easing him in. Maybe it’s about giving maximum exposure to veterans the Giants could eventually move at the deadline or even sooner. Just something to think about. Because from the outside looking in, this feels more and more like the early stages of a rebuild.
