@narindertweets … rather than saying “this is facts”. It seemed like him just saying what ppl (wrongly) are scared of. And if handled better could have been an educational moment. I highly doubt hes loving places like GBNews championing him.

@narindertweets While I agree his words were misjudged. When I watched it used terms like “it seems like” and more importantly “this is the narrative we are being fed” rather than “this is what’s happening”. It felt more like he was voicing what the public are generally being told by media….

I don't believe in anyone losing work or an income due to their opinions (unless they cross the legal threshold), but we need to have a open and frank discussion why Gary Lineker was hounded for having an actual opinion, and used his own personal platform for it, whereas Rylan is making multiple factually incorrect statements, spouting right wing lies, on a national TV programme and he remains intact?? Can we discuss this in an adult and kindly manner please?

@saiyanhajime @things_lets Also more concerns there is no legal equivalent like the MOT in the states. So cars are fixed as and when the owners think it’s needed/due rather than checked annually they are safe to drive.

I don't drive and I'm British but wtf is an "oil change" Americans do every five minutes? I've never in my life heard anyone in the UK say they need to get their oil changed. Do we call it something else? I assume it's just required more in the states cuz milage, but???
