Them making the playoffs or missing by 3 points isn't fundamentally changing the FO's view of this team nor its timeline. If anything, making it and getting a raucous crowd will be a selling point to players with PHI on their NMC lists.

We also have been a blackhole for 1g and 1c...two best drafted were Clarke and Forsberg. I just want them to make changes with how they draft/develop...take bpa and stop reaching for a specific need.

Flyers are going to lose to the Capitals 6-4. They got a lot of help today, which means this loss doesn't kill them... but it also means they missed a golden opportunity to gain a ton of ground.
