@utanoe_09 Both the illustration and the animation are gorgeous. Exceptional work!

I'd really like to try it, I'd messed around with Sai 1 in the past and it seemed to be a very solid, albeit utilitarian program. I have a lot of commercial software already that I'd spent several thousand on-but I end up using the free Krita (and Drawpile) most often-it's just a lot more user friendly (to me)-but you really can't complain about thirty bucks.
Commercial software like Sai that's still a one-time payment definitely deserves support.

Unc here: I've worked my entire life and I have nothing to show for it except a bunch of material possessions that don't mean shit. Don't make the same mistake I did; find a job with a less demanding schedule-make that your priority. You deliver pizzas out of the right zip code and you'll be making six figures on part time. Your time is worth more than any amount of money they're paying you if you can't lock in on art or enjoy a social life outside of it.
Work enough to pay your bills and survive if need be-a little extra when there's something you really want-but not too much more than that or one day after you'd traded enough of your youth away you may wake up burdened with a regret that never washes off.

I was recently made aware of a product, a trading card game, that is completely generated in AI. The art obviously (the characters all look like this. lmao) and the text as well. It's possible even the gameplay mechanics were hallucinated by ChatGPT or whatever flavor of the month AI software too. It's called "Wonders of the First".
I probably don't need to tell you, but this thing's very existence is incredibly disrespectful to the hobby gaming industry, an industry that was built by and largely owes its continued success to human artists, writers, etc.; this industry that has in turn provided human artists with opportunities and income they never would have realized without it. If this dubious product achieves any measure of success it will set a very, very bad precedent for the entire industry and creative labor as a whole going forward.
Consider doing what I did. Call the local gaming stores in your area-call their distributors too. Urge them to be aware of this garbage and refuse to stock it.
